thats not what i'm saying at all. we don't have a baseball team in NC so i'm an Orioles and Nattys fan b/c those are the 2 nearest teams and who i was raised to like b/c my pops is from Northern VA.

BUT, i don't hate on the Hurricanes, Panthers, or Bobcats collectively. people like their hometown teams, if that isn't how it is then how the hell would any sporting event sell out? lol, spul i'm not trying to play any kind of "God," thats how its already established, it only makes sense.

i understand picking teams to like and sticking with... okay. all i'm saying is when you combine with HATING your hometown teams on purpose, that just makes you look stupid IMO. but once again, thats IMO.

Well it's dumb IMO to make an assumption about why someone does something without knowing their reasoning.

But yeah, I find it more fun to watch sports if you're rooting for a team, so I think I'm gonna root for the Celtics :thumbup:

I'd like to see the Lakers win it too just cause I've always been a Kobe fan seeing as he's from not too far from me. But I've always been loyal to teams/divisions/conferences or whatever, so I want to see the East bring it home :thumbup:
