just laid the hooks on a track in the sauna. sounds the best i've got from this mic co1u. i just have like a hamper for a back drop and 4 towels around the spot, i think it sounds pretty good...

the sauna is all wood but its dead quiet in there, dont notice an echo and i usually dont have my mic set up and in there i got it on the bleacher type seats in there. werd, imma be droppin some shit now i got a place to do it and have it sound alright. bomb ass pussy.

EQ can be your best freind or your worst enemy bro. Key to EQing is to remove before you add.
If you want more highs, take out lows, instead of adding highs, nah mean?

Everything needs a EQ though so fuck with it cause it can add that extra level to an otherwise dull track.

Compression will help aswell.

that link is now the new eq'd version. i didn't remove before i added, but it sounds better. and i haven't a clue about compressing. but how bout when i daub my rhymin parts, i pan alot one side and usually put the chorus effect on just that part. is there a better way. i been listenin to professional tracks and it dont seem like they duabs all on one side
