Not every religion has a jesus.....and no it has nothing to do with manipulation, man started to gain knowledge about the atmophere and decided that the sun is a star and nothing more, so they made up another story, and when it gets proven wrong they will make up another one, it's the fear of the unknown that make people turn to and create religion.

What is your general point your trying to make in this thread? The sun is really our god and we're being manipulated.

La Cosa Nostra 03-19-09 12:29 AM

the sun has played an integral roll in our creation..

aswell as the moon.....

one way 03-19-09 12:33 AM

Let me say it like this, it may be your point after all

Any religion story has been created using others before it as a guide more or less, and the first form of religion was worshiping the sun......

La Cosa Nostra 03-19-09 12:38 AM

oh was it?

i wouldnt know, i wasnt around when the first forms of religion came out....

one way 03-19-09 12:40 AM

That was supposed to be a thesis type thing.......and historically speaking, so we're told.

King Solo 03-19-09 12:56 AM

Religion is a fucking joke. You get enough people faithful to a created religion and you can pretty much have a religion of anything.

Just ask people of the Jedi Census Church about that.

03-19-09 01:28 AM

Yeah, Adam is trying to teach people the same thing there, Sno

it's just funny that people are like OMG 12 DISCIPLES THAT POINTS TO THIS IN THE STARS SEEEEEEEEEE? OMG ITS ALL JUST ASTROLOGY..

then 2v has to slap them with the "Oh yeah but the bible says Jesus had more than 12 disciples. Aint that but a bitch dawg?"

In essence, every argument you come up with has a counter-argument and no, one way, there is no proof that people create Religion to define the unknown.

for all anybody in the PLANET knows, God could be 100% real and he's just setting the stage for you to fail in believing him. That you know no more than the first Religion revolving around the sun, or why Religion itself exists.

You could die tomorrow and simply appear in a 244 different colored realm with a giant angry hermaphrodite staring down at you screaming "YOU FAILED MY TEST OF FAITH."

then when you're like "But dude, there was no proof! Why have you tested me?! I apologize, you are my Lord!!!!!!!"

He'll/She'll be like "I GAVE YOU THE BIBLE AND TOLD YOU TO BELIEVE. I DELIBERATELY GAVE MAN THE CAPABILITY TO TEST THINGS OUT, I'VE DONE THIS TO ADD COLOR TO YOUR SOUL AND THERE ARE 244 COLORS IN MY REALM. IF YOU ARE NOT ONE OF THE COLORS WHICH REPRESENTS PURITY AND GOOD, YOU WILL BE REMOVED FROM EXISTENCE.

GOODBYE. YOU HAVE FAILED."

i worship the son jesus chirst.

J.Roy 03-19-09 02:28 AM

I believe in a religion, but i'm considered a "ignorant person" for believing in what I believe in. And normally the people that are saying i'm "ignorant" are ignorant themselves.

_Talksic_ 03-19-09 02:56 AM

^^^^^true that.

well im not ignorant...

so lets delve into the abnormal and im going to call you ignorant for allowing yourself to become a sheep in the herd of primative human teachings of paradoxial unknown phenomina and fabels.

03-19-09 08:44 AM

it's paradoxical. That's twice now you left out the 'c'

and anyway, you'd have to define what you mean by paradoxical for me to argue with that.

Other than this, primitive human teachings had to have come from somewhere. Are you saying, primitive humans produced the bible? If so then wouldn't that make it extremely important regardless, and wouldn't that mean that 2,000 years ago is "primitive" and Alexander The Great was pre-primitive. Wow, he must have just been modern in a primitive world, either that or he was one heck of a monkey.

Besides... Unknown phenomena? You might as well say "everyday on earth"

and Fables? freakin' prove it....

If I'm considered lost in your eyes because I don't believe in the same thing you do, it's a little condescending, you tell me whose ignorant?

Just because people can easily point out the flaws in your religion with common logic doesn't mean they're ignorant.

that is exactly why, no one knows whats going on so they make up stories so they feel better, any religion is just somones idea of our creator passes down through the generations......the fact is no one knows, and you are ignorant to think you do.

Brydon 03-19-09 12:13 PM

This is exactly all religion is good for a discussion or debate and just an arguement.

Either way a waste of time, as it changes NOTHING.
