^^!!!!!!!! everyone is entitled to their own opinion dawg but i was into pac when he wasnt even signed with deathrow, i said he was the best then, and i say he's still the best, he had it all the complete package, maybe what he said politically sometimes got more coverage than the lyrics on his tracks, but what he said on his tracks was political as well, that was just pac, anyways like i said everybody entitled to there own opinion,

u right Com everyone's entightled to their own opinion no matter how stupid it is. Here's mine again. Skiddlez I think Pac was nice and he had serious lyrics(Politically outspoken) that's why everyone can relate to him and love his music still

what im tryin to say is rap is starting not to be street no more cause of these teenieboppers making it all hollywood. everything to them is basic. rap is the most different than the average "clean" music. and teenieboppers takin that away and makin it pop. they say p diddy, eminem, dmx, 50 in pop muisc. that aint pop. they rap and makin it too corny and makin them look bad.

fo'trill 09-06-03 05:27 PM

teenieboppers piss me off because all they focus on is the fashion and beats. yeah that is apart of rap and hip hop but there is more to it like the message behind the song, tennieboppers wouldn't care less about songs like "get by" because it's not club friendly. the only reason half of them listen to pac is because everyone says he's the best, like 50, the only reason he is big is because of betas and marketing they accept everything they are told "here kids this plate of dog shit is the new trend" now i see everyone walking with dishes attached to their dogs ass.

i can't believe kats in are here debating Pac's greatness

melodramah 09-07-03 02:59 AM

yo... where on britneys cd does she rap?? im real curious cuz i can tell u for a fact that theres not one track on there where shes trying to rap.. she honestly cant sing, but the girl can perform, its all about appearance, dancing..shit like that.. same w/ christina aguilera..altho she can actually sing.. justin timberlake.. that boys another story... apparantly someone told him he was a beatboxer...he should stick to singing, hes made some hot songs while being a solo artist.

anyways, even if they were trying to rap... how is it "ruining hip hop"....just, dont listen to it..lol, just like if u hear a wack hip hop artist what do u do? turn the shit off..

back in the nineties they didnt give a shit till now it became famous and now they wanna wreck rap. britney, timberlake, christina and madonna are all wreckin rap. im so sick of it. rap stars are people who make rap music. rock stars make rock music. pop stars make pop music. there is no such thing as a rap star who is a pop star.

are u talking about the time when britney rapped on "punk'd" ??
cuz thats seriously the only time ive ever heard her rap..
and.. how can u say theres no such thing as a rap star who is a pop star? we gotta open our minds.. who knows what 2 artists that could collab, n do a hott ass song that ppl normally would not put together... we can mix reggae w/ r&b, rap w/ r&b, y not pop w/ rap? who knows what could come of it.. aint no one ruining rap.. talk about ruining rap? look at all the wack ass emcees gettin play if u wanna talk about ruining shit.. and 4real, like some one else already pointed out.. look at jayz doing collabs w/ lenny kravitz on the blueprint 2.. u never kno whats gonna come of it till u try it.. n if ya dont like it.. thats y they got personal cd players n shyt so u can listen to whatever you want :)
ok im done;)

2hot2handle 09-07-03 03:57 AM

no, i mean she was making a track on her cd that will come out being helped by p diddy.

COM 09-07-03 05:30 AM

justin timberlake has made some hot songs?????????
fucking herb get off Rap Battles

melodramah 09-07-03 06:53 PM

^^lol..no doubt yo... i dont expect u to agree w/ me.. but come on "cry me a river" wasnt a good song? fuck i dont care..i aint afraid to admit i listen to that bullshit sometimes..i like lots of different types of music.. notice how u never hear about nsync no more.. cuz they fell off after he left.. that says something..

anyways to make my point.. it dont matter who decides to try rapping.. whether its britney spears, the freakin olsen twins or whoever.. u can never fault someone for trying to expand on their shit.. u never kno if ur good at it till u try... and anyways, y u worried about it unless u plan on buying britneys cd... quit the drama.. aint no one "ruining" hip hop... cuz if "wack" ppl trying to rap is ruining hip hop.. it was ruined a long time ago..

melodramah 09-07-03 06:55 PM

and..... if pdiddy is assisting her w/ that 1 track... he must see some potential, right? him being the "great producer" that he is....

great producer??? FUCK NO

nope. all he sees is "$'... dollar signs, he doesn't care if you have talent.

Who cares if Brittany or whoever is trying to spit... I mean we let Eminem do his thing... and that was a mistake.

Don't like it, don't listen

ja rule
50 cent
lil bow wow
eminem

pop stand for POPULAR. it is a type of music which always follows trends anyway. besides, only dumbass teens under 16 buy that shit coz they dont know any better, fuck 'em.

COM 09-08-03 11:44 AM

^^eminem has succesfully done BOTH, he and dre realised that as long as your beats have a catchy tune you can pretty much say anythin you want on a track which has kept the underground laughin' "If that fag can ass get his ass licked///how come i can't? shit// godamn bitch// i'm rich/// i can't understand this!// em dissing justin and britney ages ago..........

MR. LEGEND 09-08-03 03:10 PM

HaHa Y'all just mad cause cause she's gonna rock it better than y'all.
But Seriously, It's nothing brand new, stop crying, all artists attemp to cross over in order to gain listeners they couldn't reach with their genre before. They make mucho dough if it's successful. I remember back in the eighties, when TEENA MARIE was rappin, on "square biz", Didn't Chaka khan, bust a coupla bars too. Bobby brown, New edition.
