mtv is mostly white and BET IS black so thats why they get less credit then most of the white music artist on MTV

i only watch bet for two reasons, first is i like to watch the freestyle friday battles, and second is i like to watch the artists freestyles on rap city. In my view canada has better hip hop shows, we have our rap city, which shows videos from years back.
My oder brother is from cali and when he came over to toronto and saw our rap city he was impressed, cause over here most people get booed for listening to nelly.

word mtv is all wack shows. they never play any good music. once they had this ill music session , mos def, talib kweli, i think tribe.

bet plays 50 cent and nelly all the time. i like freestyle fridays but usually im never home to see it. that new ludacris joint is ill. id like to cop mtv2 i heard they have lots of underground hiphop there.

Mtv only plays the rap videos of the artists that crossed over. Ones that white folks know and love. That's why they only have the "big" names performing. 50 cent blows up they nab him, nelly blows up they nab him.

But people don't want to sit and watch the same set of video's all day, so they come up with shows, which I think was a good move.
I mean who didn't see MTB with Puffy? That shit was epic, and the newly wed show. I thought it was funny how spoiled and stupid that white chick was. Jack ass is funny as hell, punked is hilarious. The only problem is they play the same damn shows like they were videos. What BET without comic view. BET needs to step up, but it's clear they don't have a budget like Mtv, but they still reppin a little bit. I just flip in between both of them....

As for WET tv, they already beat you to it... it's called CBS
