cassidy, murda mook, Jae millz, eminem...that is a nice line up

It seems that most of you guys are referring to diss tracks instead of real battles. Its much easier to go inside of a studio and "craft" a diss track than it is to "battle diss" someone in a real freestyle battle.

If we're talking about track disses.. KRS-One has to be the best because he kept it real hip-hop from the "Bridge" to the Nelly diss.

Another good em cee when it comes to track disses has to be Cormega. He keep s it real hip-hop and intelligent too. Examples: "Bring It Back" to Eminem and "One Love" to Nas.

Now best free style em cee would have to be Vakill. The guy is crazy and I wish that more people would give him respect. Can't forget Kool Mo Dee of course, and Canibus is up there. '96-'99 Eminem is outstanding as well.

Now, Tupac is no way a battle em cee. "Hit Em Up" was a popular diss track due to its catchy beat and "hot" lyrics (By "hot" I mean flashy and mainstream.) When you actually think about it this guy was not much of an em cee. He was never a freestyler either. He was outstanding on the written, had an excellent ear for music, knew how to appeal to mainstream.. but he never lived a life of an actual 'em cee'. He lived a life of a writer and an entertainer who was real about his situations and had average gift when it came to delivering his stuff.

But if we're talking about "best known" i guess it would have to be Jay-Z or Nas due to their little beef, and of course Eminem since he is the most popular em cee. But fuckin' Cassidy? Cassidy battles? Are you sure he's not somewhere still having a hotel party? Damn that guy's material is trash.
