Big L has blasted biters several times in his lyrics and made it clear that he wasnt looking to be "bigged up" by someone else biting his lyrics. Im pretty sure if Big L was still alive he wouldve bitch slapped Jay Z several times by now.

bottom line is that if this was anyone else this wouldnt even be an issue...if I came on here and just started spitting all pacs lines and when i got caught i was just like "nah i was just trying to get pacs lines out there" yall would be like "no you were biting" and id be banned...nobodys saying that jay z is not a good rapper...were just saying hes a biter and there is irrefutable evidence that he is...im sorry but his halfass attempt at explaining it after he had already been caught doesnt do it for me...

But check it, you biting something on a website with a few thousand people using Pac lines is 310598715075 times different than a rapper who has sold over 10 million albums and using lines from other people who sell just as much. I really don't see how you can hate on him for shit like that, cuz he has more skill than anyone he's ever "bitten" IMO.It's not like he thought nobody was gunna notice and shit with how many people listen to the music.

Now I don't have a problem admitting what he's done, but I refuse to call it biting. I would be willing to bet ANY artist out there has "bitten" something by these standards. Maybe not to the scale of Jigga but it's the same thing.

I ain't no Jay-Z fan in fact but I've read a lot about this on several sites already and he did indeed use lines from other artists before him. Whether they were as a tribute or not but I don't think there are many rappers out there that haven't used a line of someone else before. And you know what? He is not hiding it and if I'm feeling a track by him, I won't stop listening to it just because he "bit" lines. The man is making money and not all credits should go to him but who cares? I don't think he does...
