Being in the KKK isn't against the law. Marching to show "white pride" isn't breaking the law. And, about how would I feel if people who would kill white people in the future walking through my neighborhood.. I would be pissed. What does that have to do with anything? I didn't say the black people didn't have a reason to be mad. I said that the people who marched weren't breaking the law, therefore the police and mayor couldn't do anything to stop them.
And no, I'm not defending the KKK. THEY WEREN'T BREAKING THE LAW, THEREFORE THE POLICE AND MAYOR COULDN'T TELL THEM TO STOP. It is as simple as that. I'm not pro-KKK, pro-Nazi, pro-any of that shit, but THEY WERE NOT BREAKING THE LAW BY MARCHING. You can say whatever you want, but they weren't breaking the law. Go read your Constitutional rights before you start to argue this shit. They didn't take away any African American rights through their demonstration, therefore allowing them to continue. I'm not saying I wouldn't be pissed if I was in the shoes of those black people, that's not the arguement. I never said I wouldn't be pissed. The KKK were marching legally, though. And the Nazi sign may represent hate towards blacks and Jews, but during that march they didn't physically hurt anybody.. therefore the march is legal. |

Looking at this from the outside, from what I read at various news sites, the neo-nazis marched against "black crime". Yes, they shouted racial slogans, and but all that does is hurt someone's feelings. Not exactly right, but not illegal. Then they had people on the other side that started throwing rocks, setting things on fire, and destroying property. People naturally have pride about their ethnicity, but when member's of your group start a riot, it becomes an embarassment to your people. Who do you think would be seen as the worser of the two evils when seen from the eyes of other ethnic groups? Basically the neo-nazis wanted to stir up trouble and the people who rioted took the bait and did. So who ended up in jail?
