Cola 03-25-08 12:06 AM

USC was way overrated because of O.J. Mayo....and i think dude is overrated aswell

J. Luth 03-25-08 12:19 AM

^son i meant Stanford-USC in football this yr. Where Stanford was 40 pt underdogs. lol

and yea, I agree with what you said above, Boise st.-oklahoma. the game wasn't the best cuz first 3 quarters OU played like shit. But that 4th quarter and OT, holy shit. damn son (notice the OU hoody in the sig. holla)

Cola 03-26-08 05:01 PM

lol, no doubt about that Stanford-USC game....that was one for the fucking ages dude

J. Luth 03-26-08 05:08 PM

^the whole last season was. That fucking michigan-appalachian state.

and OMG usually thursday night football blows. but WOW @ how many top 10 matches they had. And me being Oklahoma fan, and them losing to Colorado, SOO many teams ahead of OU played on Thursdays. And i loved it all. Cuz they almost always were upsets.

then fucking OU gets to #2, and their QB goes out with a concussion and they lose by a TD and get out of title hunt. PSHHHH

but I just love the college games more than pros. The atmosphere, the passion from players, and especially the fans make college superior to the pro games in my opinion.

Cola 03-26-08 05:14 PM

college of course is going to always have a better trill to it...they just NEED a motherfucking play off system

J. Luth 03-26-08 06:23 PM

^exactly. EVEN Though... that'd take away the meaning of each week. Cuz in college football it's like you lose one game it's almost your whole season. Makes all those big rivalry games even BIGGER.

i don't think they should do a huge play-off. MAYBE just do it with the top 4 teams I think. that would not only keep the importance of each game, but also add a play-off so there aren't any 2004 reoccurances (Oklahoma, LSU, and USC (#1 ap left out of BCS title).

Cola 03-26-08 06:30 PM

yeah, they need to do a 8 game play off.....Pac10, Big12, Big10, ACC, Big East, SEC champions all in...and than 2 at-large bid's.....thats how i'd set it up

J. Luth 03-26-08 06:35 PM

iunno well, I guess it could work. Give more importance to the conference championships.

cuz honestly, I don't give a FUCK if Oklahoma wins the big 12. Cuz we basically do it every yr ~_~ even year before last when we lost to Texas LOL that never happens, usually winner of OU-Texas wins big 12. but worddd

Sam Bradford for Heisman 2008

Stanford to final 4 2008. WOO

Cola 03-26-08 08:04 PM

thats what i ment, who ever wins the conference championship games shoudl be able to go to the playoff's....so there is no dispute of who is the best team from the confrence

J. Luth 03-27-08 11:18 PM

word true, STANFORD ALL THE WAY THOO

Cola 03-28-08 08:19 PM

in the words of Ja Rule, regarding the Stanford-Texas game, "Uh uho"

J. Luth 03-28-08 08:21 PM

i was just gonna up this. fuck texas. wtf I hate this shit playing games in football stadiums, with raised floors. But texas playing in it too, but still. arghhh fucking Lopez's doing what they can but guards fucking it up.

Cola 03-28-08 08:29 PM

lol, i knew you'd be online right now waiting for me to come with a quick jab to the Lopez brothers....but they are playing the best on the team....they gotta get some outside help other wise they wont win. They also really gotta step it up on D

J. Luth 03-28-08 08:31 PM

nah they doing their part. Getting rebounds, couple of blocks. it's the fucking guards letting too much penetration happen. Lopez's are doing their shit. Also Taj Finger off the bench has been a beast.

Mitch Johnson needs to get his shit together on D. Mason fucking owning him right now

J. Luth 03-28-08 08:49 PM

word to stanford starting to play better.

J. Luth 03-28-08 08:57 PM

damn had it down to one. but wow Lopez needs to stop shooting thru triple teams and find the open men

Cola 03-28-08 10:12 PM

hoot hoot, texas goes on BIG....that one Lopez with the Fro sure did do his part of sucking ass tonight. There outside game was fucking flat as hell, and Augustine was just over the top to much to handle

J. Luth 03-28-08 11:16 PM

lol yea, fucking Brooke lopez fucking owned, but then in the end, he kept taking stupid shots in triple coverage. But I don't blame him, everyone else was basically shooting bricks, even when wide open.

arghh i can only hope he decides to come back for another year, but that's doubtful when many say he is a top 3 pick.

J.Roy 03-29-08 12:46 PM

I got UCLA and UNC in the finals wih UCLA winning it. Kevin Love is the fucking man. If they don't win I want Davidson to get it. Stephen Curry's been ripping teams new assholes.

Cola 03-29-08 07:57 PM

Kevin Love is a fat dusche, kid needs to lay off the fuckin Mcdonalds and work on his up's, becuase he is gonna get destroyed in the pro's

J. Luth 03-29-08 09:03 PM

lol they killed Xavier. this tourney been so wack. Liek no classic games really, except for the 2nd day of first rd. =/

like the tourney where Siena made it to final 4 was the great one. SOOOOOOO many upsets, and so many great games that yr. Except the final 4, and title game blew. but everything else was ill

Cola 03-30-08 08:38 AM

your just salty that Stanford couldn't "upset" Texas <3

J. Luth 03-30-08 10:33 AM

^LOL nah son. all the games blow-outs tho. Even last night yo.

Name me some classic match-ups so far. lol past the first Rd. only one that comes to mind is Stanford- Marquette.

like the yr, FLorida won first one, was best NCAA tournament I think. The amount of drama and shit in those games was ill. It was exactly like last yr's college football season. So many upsets, and classic games lol

Cola 03-30-08 07:08 PM

umm, i wouldn't say i've seen a ton of "classic" games, but really-really good games...yes i would say i've seen them. Duke-West Virgina, all of the Davidson game's, UCLA's last game.....there has been alot of competive, close-good games. Ya dig?

J. Luth 03-30-08 08:47 PM

ehhh a all #1 final 4 is not interesting at all son. I wanna see some UPSETS ya dig?

Cola 03-30-08 08:52 PM

an upset doesn't define a good game

J. Luth 03-30-08 09:06 PM

^well if you look at the examples I stated it does. Last years college football season, almost all of them were amazing. (Mich-Appalachian St.; Stanford- USC; LSU-Kentucky; LSU- Arkansas, etc etc) then look @ the year florida won it's first title in B-ball. The Siena matches were all classics, that Gonzaga game where Morrison broke down crying, and countless classics.

this tournament rarely had any. More 15+ pt victories then close ones

Cola 03-31-08 12:09 AM

App-Michigan was just a huge upset, one team played horrible while another team played extremely well. Just so happens that one team HAD TO play horrible in order for it to be a really GOOD game. An upset is just having one great team playing horrible, and one semi-good team playing really good on any certain day. I'd way much rather rather see Ali-Frazier fight...and have Ali win every time, becuse you KNOW that its a GOOD fight, not a upset...but its a GOOD fight. We just dont see eye to on eye on this topic

Are you serious? you must of not watched that game then.

If you saw last quarter, both teams were playing great on offense and making great plays. Michigan's RB, I forget his name played ill.

and your definition is wrong, that can be the case sometimes, but not all the time. And those games I stated weren't wack.

how you gonna deny LSU-Kentucky and LSU-Arkansas weren't ill?

triple OT's for both games. End of story

Cola 03-31-08 01:49 PM

so your saying that every tripple over time game EVER played was because it was a "great" game, highly unlikely.....and like i orignally stated, those games were really good games, but "great"---no.

J. Luth 03-31-08 02:35 PM

^son wtf? Did I say EVERY? I said that those games were played well by both teams for THREE OTs.

and what about Oklahoma- Boise St.? How was that game not great? David v.s Goliath shit.

fact is, this NCAA tournament didn't have too many exciting games. MAJORITY of the games were one team COMPLETELY outplaying the other team. And all I said, is that does not make for interesting games. Davidson-Kansas, now that was one of those games that the tourney could of used more off. But most of them were similiar to the Texas-Memphis game.

I don't see why you're even trying to argue, look @ any sports article by ESPN, CBS, Fox, or whoever when discussing the NCAA tournament when George mason made the final 4 (Was GM not siena, which i initially thought). It was hailed as one of the most exciting if not THE most exiting tournaments ever. So yea, you can argue upsets don't always make great games, but those upsets in that tournament did.

This tournament has been mostly boring, and most games are pretty much decided after the first half this year. So all I said was, this tournament pales in comparison to that particular tournament. Which if you compare the games, it is pretty much an accurate account

Cola 03-31-08 11:06 PM

i love you...nuff said
