Oh, and just to let you know, there's 59 Players on the Missouri roster from Missouri, and 28 from Texas. And I'm sure if you look at the rosters of OU, OSU, KU, & K-State, that'll be a pretty consistent number across the board.
Anyways, the O-Line is just getting mauled. Chase & Co. can't get anything going!!!! It's like what happened against OU last year, but we were able to climb back into that game, so let's just see what we can do. |

good lord..you people are rediculous... notice you said ALMOST. Does almost count?.....didnt think so. |
All that matters is the end result.
|
in the rankings it might likely count, dont get me wrong i would love an a+ defense
but if you dont have an offense that can rise to the occasion when need be at times, well your just not a championship caliber team...and i'm not giving all the credit to the texas players, where did i say that, i said Mizz's roster is full of em 28 is quite a bit... 35-0 Longhorns, games pretty much over, mizz just cant stop texas offense... |
the rims look like coca cola
|
35-3 thank you, and 28 Texans on a team is pretty consistent around the Big XII. It's a state that produces alot of good football players

LOL well then if you're trying to say that. Then look at the OU game. Where OU moved with ease while being one dimensional. Now after today almost 700 Yds on a GOOD Kansas defense. And like some commentator said. In big 12 play with the amazing offensive talent, a good D in these games is a defense that might give up 20-30 pts, but makes the plays when it counts. aka what Texas did. Stopping OU in 4th, and then what OU did today v.s. Kansas. Kansas had almost 500 yds. But when Kansas had chances to make the game close, OU forced 3 turnovers. And made key pass deflections, and held kansas to 0-10 on 3rd downs. When they came in 54% and 3rd in the nation on 3rd down efficiency. Pt is. You have a great O-line and an intelligent QB. I don't care how fucking good your defense is, that QB will find the smallest holes and stick that ball in there. That's what QB's like Colt McCoy and Sam Bradford have been doing all yr. Even in games where the O-line has been AWFUL. They still have high completion %'s and no ints, and good amount of TDs and yds. and how is TCU's d overrated? Like YOU said, it doesn't matter who you play. It's Div 1 football, and doing what they did is impressive. And just because they might not be the BEST defense in the nation, doesn't make them OVERATED. statistically they might be, but I never said they are logically the best. And nobody has. So I don't see how they can be overrated. they're one of good ones tho fasho |

word, i dig ya there, i was actually hopin this game would be close, i like mizzou alomost went there for schooling, but catching that pavlik-hopkins fight too so word... |
I'm going to go to Mizzou actually next fall. It's a great school. Football has never really been our big thing, so this excitement is way cool for us.

coo, yeah i went ahead and did my basic's at a jr. saved me alot of cash, now looking to transfer out to a university. prolly going to texas state or UT. |
word i seriously thought about transferring to oklahoma. cuz they a top 100 school. BUt... it's in fucking oklahoma. got scorpions and tarantulas. and not to mention, reaches 120 during the summer. no thanks LOL
|
lol you northeasterns are pussies. 120 ain't that bad.

call me crazy...but i wouldnt call the Kansas D a great one..decent..yea..but no more than that. I think your missing my point though..im not talking about "good" defenses..im not talking about "decent" defenses..im talking about GREAT defenses. They do not come along very often..i dont know that there is truly a GREAT defense in football like LSU's last season...But, when it comes down to championship football..and your team has a GREAT defense on the field..you win. and i didnt say TCU's defense wasnt good...i AM impressed with their D at times..but they are far from great...theyre pretty good. Theres a lot of teams out there that would put up good points on that defense. BYU is still BYU no matter how you look at it...although they were ranked high..it will always be BYU..its not Florida, OU, Texas, Bama, Penn State, USC..or anyone that will compete for championships for years on in...its BYU who has a good offense for their schedule. Had they been playing a SEC schedule..theres not a soul on this planet that would consider them a "high powered offense"..trust me. I only stated that TCU's defense is overrated...and they are statistically..by a long shot. You cant tell me that if you had to pick 5 defenses in college football to shut down a game winning drive...that TCU's would be one of the 5 you pick. |
no, but what I can tell you is that. Texas will prolly go undefeated. Fucking nigs!
|
Yo what's the tie breaker if say
in the end it's OU, Texas Tech OR oklahoma st, and Texas all with one loss? say Texas beat OU OU beat Oklahoma st/Texas Tech then Texas Tech/Oklahoma St beat Texas what's the tiebreaker? |
I want to say it then goes to overall record?
Either that or away conference game records... but I could be far off. |
lol dude if they all had 1 loss, they'd all finish 10-1 lol
but damn i gotta research this. Because i doubt Texas will lose more than one game. and all i can hope for is. was for a TWO loss team to win the SEC. and Penn St to lose. That way, OU and Texas have a shot at playing for title. Which since the first was so ill to people, a rematch for title would be iller. word |
Dude, thats too much to think about, and its blowing my high lol
|
i researched it. and basically if they all only have one loss. It goes down to who is the highest ranked BEFORE the big 12 conference championship in the BCS standings.
and i'm pretty sure that'd be OU if they keep it up. OR depending on how Texas play in their loss it could be them lol |
Damn that's bias as fuck
|
^LOL
i mean if they had 2 losses each THEN It could be interesting. but i doubt that happens anyways: If three or more teams are tied, steps 1 through 7 will be followed until a determination is made. If only two teams remain tied after any step, the winner of the game between the two tied teams shall be the representative. 1. The records of the three teams will be compared against each other. 2. The records of the three teams will be compared within their division. 3. The records of the three teams will be compared against the next highest placed teams in their division in order of finish (fourth, fifth and sixth). 4. The records of the three teams will be compared against all common conference opponents. 5. The highest ranked team in the first Bowl Championship Series Poll following the completion of Big 12 regular season conference play shall be the representative. 6. The team with the best overall winning percentage [excluding exempted games] shall be the representative. 7. The representative will be chosen by draw. ^with one loss each, it'll be #5 |
haha thats craziness
|
LOL @ if it had to come down to #7.
it'd be like Friday Night Lights. shieett |
Dude, that'd be mad gay, yo.

LMAO, oklahoma has those country bugs, but down here in tx we got em too. mainly in the out in the woods and ish. like in the city you see little ass grasshoppers but in the country you see grasshoppers that look 3 ft long and fly at you and look like they just came out of some govt experiment.lol i did think bout Boston though, my girl wanted to go to some school up their for music, dont remember, wasnt paying attention, lol i wanna go fo some Clam Chowda! |
Haha, Oklahoma got scorpions and shit. You city kids are too citified, the bugs won't do shit... haha
Then again, I'm a huge country boy haha |
^w/e son, I love my 60-70 degree weather. fucking PERFECT. I fucking burn 80+, so imagine 100+ and 100 being considered a cool day. FUCK OUTTA HERE LOL
Quote:
Berkley? I was thinking that too. Good school though. but word, fuck insects. Like especially them tarantulas. I fucking don't care how tiny it is, a fucking spider gets the kid jumping like kris kross b |
Pussies! lol
Dude, I canoe down rivers in 100 degree temperatures drinking my Coors Light and smokin' a cigar! It's all about bug spray Spul, all about that bug spray. |
Quote:
agreed. i cant deal with spiders...and my ass lives in tennessee. |
^word son.
fuck Bug spray tho. Won't help the kid. but word Ike, what you think from first BCS? surprised by how low Florida and LSU are. I'm happy tho. USC should be lower. the fuck? How you gon punish florida when USC so high? Such bullshit. Ole Miss>Oregon st. by far. and Ohio St looking pretty damn good. Hopefully they upset Penn St. Then hopefully they falter at michigan somehow lol. Because that COULD make them jump OU unless OU somehow win big 12. but Texas looks too dominant. shit |
Bug spray don't help the kid. Maybe the kid should grow some balls! It's just bugs! lol jk
|
Quote:
i think a lot of it is complete bullshit. i agree with the top 4. How IN THE FUCK..is USC 5th? is that some sort of fucking joke? Florida and Georgia should both be ahead of them..they lost to better teams. |
yea, but i don't know I agree with Florida being low, since they did lose to a team with a bad record. And that's all comp sees. USC should be down there too.
the teams ahead of them WILL eventually fall, but as of now should be higher. Like Oklahoma St, Texas Tech. both still have to play Texas, OU. so if they lose to them they out, and if they beat them both they deserve it obviously. but besides USC everything else seems fine. word to how close OU is to Pen st tho. sucks tho it'll all change next week. If PSU wins this saturday, it's fucking over. fuck my best bet is if texas doesn't lose 2. Hopefully this happens. They lose one, then lose to a 2 loss missouri or Kansas. in big 12 title game. that way OU would jump Texas, then hopefully a 2 or 3 loss team beats bama in sec title game  then it could be OU-PSU WORD |
http://newsok.com/oklahoma-texas-me...ead_story_title
^word to that. that would be so fucking ill. i mean honestly, if Alabama and PSU somehow lose this weekend. I think the best case scenario for OU is for Texas to win out. I mean, so what if your only loss was to the 12-0 #1 team. And everyone loved the OU-Texas match and wanted more, so it'd be only fitting. Especially with Colt McCoy and Sam Bradford running away with the Heisman talk. oh man, I'd so cop tickets for that shit. I mean, OU has remaining games against OSU and Texas Tech who are both highly ranked as their LAST TWO games. so word |
Quote:
yeah, thats it. lol, but bug spray dont help some of those mesquitos are like fuckin birds, nah VP, bug spray dont help lol |
haha, I ain't never seen no mosquito that big haha... Just drink and you ain't gotta worry about it.

do not wish for a bama loss this weekend sir. I will be in Neyland Stadium saturday night. Of all weekends...not this one. I will die. |
rofl
the irony is bubblin over |
Quote:
^LOL I wish for a Bama loss b. If you die, it'll only mean i'd kill two birds with one stone. LOL j/p but Bama needs to go down, and go down hard. :hump: |
the last team in the world i want them to lose to is Tennessee...god, i hate them.
