I thought retirement was easy, meant you were done, I have a remaining stretch to go though, last one. Omega Once proud and tall reduced to a foreign figure, The presence of my old strength inside me still lingers. God cursed my life, from the birth until my death, He made sure I had pain for every single breath. The changes in my body and mind cursed many lives, People don’t know how many times I wished I’d die. But when it comes to meet him, I will say I loved it, That I cherished every day, perhaps every minute. In the end I question my self, what really is time? The lights twinkle below me twinkle as in they decided to wave To remind me of all the people that once were lost that I saved Minor turbulance worries me, but I know that I remain safe, People now start praying but little do they know it is too late The engine has now blown, why do they think of God now? Since death lurks behind their breath God should care somehow? As the little ones cry, I just see the lights coming into view, We are now close enough that I see the morning's dew. As mass chaos ensues I just laugh the pain away, Because in my life this is just another day. Ending My plan for this world is simple, something easy to understand, To fight over sounds and pieces of this meaningless land.
