exactly..Jay-z is far from overrated..if you listen to his lyrics..he explains why he make songs like Change Clothes..or big pimpin...it's because thats the shit he got to put out on the radio to get people who dont listen to lyrics..like auspicious25...it'a bait..because in the hip hop world we live in today thats what you gotta do ..if you want to make money..he cant go 5x platium with just all lyrical songs on your album..you have to have atlest..atleast!!1..one commercial song..thats why it's called commercial..iyt's advertising his cd..just like on tv..commercials come on to advertise their product..because face it..we all know some people that will buy a Lil Jon cd before they will by a Canibus cd..and that is sad

btw..change clothes is annoyin'?..but I bet you..when it first came out you was singin..just about everyone was..so in conclusion..Jay-z isnt overrated..he's smart..

"If skill sold, truth be told, I'd probably be lyrically Talib Kwali. Truthfully, I wanna rhyme like Common Sense, but I did 5 mil... I ain't been rhymin like common sense. when you sense got that much in common, and youve been hustlin since... your inception fuck perception, go with what makes cents. And since I know what I'm up against, as rappers we must decide what's most important. And I can't help the poor if I'm one of them, so I got rich and gave back... to me, thats the win-win"

That sums up his whole career.

unfortunatley most havent
they just hear the hook and say the song is trash
personally i like the song... no where near one of his best
commercial tracks..but it wasnt intended to be either
jay-z in my opinion is not overrated
go back to reasonable doubt...classic
blueprint to me is classic

is he better than BIG,,tupac..or nas
thats up to you....no one has the right to tell you
that one of your favorite rappers is overrated...

as a matter of fact they do..but that just their opinion
never ending debate here because people will have their own mind
therwfore we will always agree to disagree

And that stanza is dope as hell. Saying he gave back to the community, saying he is a hustler so he gave the public what they wanted but at the same time spit about the same shit.Kids these days don't know shit then form an opinion.Oh and that shit right there by the way was considered by Kweli and Big Daddy Kane as one of the dopest lines ever in a song
