site needs more mature users. i come to this site mainly to make fun of half the kids here. i hit up blazing mic and hiphopcrib to be serious.

if more people were serious about how things worked at this site, then i would be serious as well. i think a lot of younger kids are attracted to rapbattles for some reason or another and things just aren't handled maturely. i think you have to cater to your audience, and expect what you would from a bunch of middle schoolers. not saying everyone is like that here, but the majority seems to be.

either cater to a different audience and try to attract them, or stick with what you have. some forums can be eliminated since they are rarely used. this board seems to be dominantly text, so get rid of some of the other aspects of it.

do you really need net crews? this leads to more "crew voting" and less true votes. every site that has crews has a huge problem with this. get rid of the crew forum and you will eliminate plenty of this.

good point..but crews bring a whole new....whats that word.....interest in rapping.......and its like real life......if there was no crews and gangs there would probably be less violence in this world...... .

A lot of raw talent here, just the overall climate is kinda immature.
the moderators do just that. Moderate the boards and make sure we aint flaming eachother 24/7. I won't say that there help isn't needed, but all & all, the people is what makes this forum what it is. We need more forums that give information about hip hop events going on in dif. areas. Battles, conferences with record labels, mainstream battles, ect. post links 2 sites advertising the events. Meaningful events and info about things that could help us in our struggle 2 b hip hop artists, producers or whatever.what we don't need is another thread about someone hating on a gay dude, and wasting 4 pages on it.

Also I noticed that there are no regional threads, ie threads that relate 2 whats going on in the users area, city. ex
a video game site(shoryuken.com) has threads that are area specific, like the norcal, socal, midwest, eastcoast, ect.threads. the point is not 2 discriminate, but 2 give the users a feel for what each region has 2 offer. It'll also make it easier 2 meet up with other artsits in ur area 4 collabo's or whatever.

I think LoT should be upgraded to SMod.. and we should get maybe 1 or 2 more SMods.. Then a mod for a few threads... Justto keep herbs on their toes.

And as for battling, they are working on a new battling system i heard. Or something like that.
