Hmm, Well I was bad at text, but still can do good.. and no, i don't really have a ego, cuz I looked at the ppl in that list and saw that I have beaten half of them, and saw that one other person even in that list that i haven't beat has sed that I am better lol.. ;) tite huh! lol, but yeah, I just hate being under rated... I've been here for almost a year, and have worked hard to get atleast the little respect I have now, Nos is good, I must admitt(Surprised too due to the amount of achohol he drinks lol), he has very good imagery, and I believe has the lyrics that Nas and Kanye would write, but I know that I can beat him, it would be close, but I know i can if I would take my time. The one time we battled, he beat me due to me starting to writte my verse one hour before the verse was due, (While Nos was bothering me by sending non-stop messages) lol.. wait, iono why i wrote all of that, but I just hate being under rated lol

you know whats good about topicals, even if your not rich, you can actually put yourself in a position and write about it, that's what makes topical so great.

Yea true, very true, but you forgot to mention, though u may have to expierience it to write about it, it could be written by people just with the imagination.. All you have to do is keep writting, elevate, n think more.. But i do agree with you, because in the topics about girl's, love, etc.. I have expierienced it, and can write about love anytime.. easilly

well i know young people who have been through alot and incorporated it into their poetry/topical pieces.. its all about their mindset.. you can be 15 with a mindset of a 30 year old. Me on the other hand have been through personal problems but i dont incorporate them much into topicals... more into poetry and open mics. but its all about your mindset... anyone can look in a dictionary and get words that are big and descriptive... but a true topical writer, needs no dictionary, all aspects of topicals are already set into their mind, and the emotion is also embedded into their minds before hand... you cant become a topical writer with the same mentality of a text writer, because basically it wont be good...


anyways dabatos is good at topical wether he's had hardships or not, but then again does that mean he's true to his word... because if i get a deep topical piece about something i've been through i'll put my heart into it... its all about your mindset
