Jay-Z says it out of respect for Big because him and BIG were friends I suppose. Jay-Z also DOES write but on the BLack Album he made it up as he went along....He wrtoe most of the songs in his head.

honestly i think Jay is WAY over rated.. and i agree w. DJ, he bit point blank.. if some one on here did it.. they would catch hell.. not only did he bite from Big but from many others, so ok, he had respect for Big, what about the mcees he took lines from.. i dont get it..
