If you are still sitting on the fence about whether you should submit a track, here is your chance.. There is still about 20 mins of space left on the cd. It costs the same to burn and mail a 60 min cd as a 80 min cd, so might as well pack as much on it as possible. If you already submitted a song and want to submit another one, feel free to post the track title.
And Spul, if you are reading this, since you were banned, you'll need to re-confirm your submission otherwise I'm going to just assume you are no longer on the site. |

We haven't gotten around to listening to all the tracks, but if you submitted a track you are pretty much guaranteed to get on unless we find something wrong or objectionable with it. I think one of the tracks I downloaded a week back one of the songs seemed to have cut off with like 30s left... maybe it was a bad download or something, but we had redownloaded all the tracks on Tuesday after the deadline and will listen to all of them one more time.
Everyone who submitted a song will get the mixtape for free if they want one. We'll probably make an additional 100 free copies available and think of a unbiased way to distribute them... maybe say xx amount of copies available on a certain day and time and the first xx number of people to post in the thread will get one or something. For the people who submitted tracks and will be on the mixtape, we will contact you to verify name/title/and other information that will be printed on the labels. We are currently looking at picking up cd labels and 5x5 envelopes. The delivery guy dropped off two huge cases of cdrs last week so we'll start burning once the tracks are finalized. |
