BTW R&B was out before hip hop so umm answer=no. And just R&B is nothing like hip hop.

^^yeh R&B was around before hip hop but it can be incorporated into hip hop therefore people would be correct in saying it can be considered a part of hip hop now

Well alot of rock artists colab with rap artist. So is rock part of hip hop too? And is rap part of rock?

WhoAmI 11-21-05 05:21 PM

hip hop is so versatile these days that yeah if rocks being incorporated into hip hop than it can be considered a part of it as well.....and the same principal applies to any music; once a style starts incorporating another style then the styles effectively become a part of each other

Oh crap :( *opens country division of hip hop*

It isnt dude... RnB is a genre of pop music... Hip hop is a bohemian culture that consists of graffiti, breakdancing, beatboxing, DJing and rap...

RnB has been closly tied to rap for a long time though.. But it never will be part of hip hop....
