LMFAO yea werd on that

Kirk 12-27-05 12:22 AM

I respect both genres of music, I just enjoy rap more.

But when I need a good "Damn that was deep," I'll put a song on.

Logic The Goonie 12-27-05 12:38 AM

I don't know about all rock, but in terms of emo...

It REALLY reminds me of most of the "poets" and some of the topical heads on here and a lot of other sites. AKA a bunch of shit that seems really deep but it's really just supremely abstract and un-aimed.

But yeah, i'm reallllllly tired of the rap vs. rock arguments because most rock heads don't budge at all, they just want to believe that all rap is a bunch of bling-bling and bitches and cars and etc. Then I realize half of them are either racist/stereotypical bastards and the other half have NO brain because they can't comprehend that rapping actually takes skill. Whatever. =/

New Meth0d 12-27-05 12:40 AM

thats why 9th degree is so illy

Logic The Goonie 12-27-05 12:41 AM

9th Degree is a faggot y0!!!111 Tell him that's straight from Soc.

No i'm kidding, 9th is only a little gay on the inside. :o

^^^ thats musicians.. i think rock fans are much different.. for example.. much of family.. is harsh on me.. for my choices in music.. making judgements on the rap they know.. and have heard on the radio.. without having a clue of what i listen to.. saying that rap isnt music.. blah blah blah.. it does get quite annoying.. and these are adults.. not my school friends...

See, when your a school kid.. You really dont understand how ignorant you are to real life..

Ofcourse you will THINK you know how shit is.. But thats just speculation.. All these kids and even some immature adults you will see do not represent the rock culture in its whole and therefore it was naieve of you to make this thread...

And I think the only reason I've typed this much is because I've just polished off half a bottle of wild turkey and a few beers and bongs and its still only mid day... ---___----

^^^^Precisely...So, my original question stands.

What are you talking about?

:nono:

La Cosa Nostra 12-27-05 12:51 AM

Wait...Nos...isn't that a moot point?...Wouldn't you learn simply because a year has gone by whether you're in school or not?

sorry...just in a philosophical mood right now

Cocaine 12-27-05 12:58 AM

ehh.. honestly i dont think i can understand nos's point.. because its kind of a situational thing.. u dont know what others are exposed to.. and what there not.. maybe Nos lived a sheltered childhood.. and wasnt exposed to the real world.. until he graduated high school? maybe indeph lived on the muh fukkin streets... ?

Yes but on different levels..

School kid's entire world is usually based on their school life (ie: wake up, go to school each day of the week, have weekends off, holidays) they dont understand the world to the degree that someone who has enterted higher cycles (ie: being independant, paying the rent, getting married, reaching higher levels in their career, etc) would understand it. The later has experienced both..

So its not about the kind of lessons you learn, its the level of complexity your taking lessons on in a sense.

like apostrophe said..people experience more than that and still in school...maybe that was your life while u was in school but we dont all live the same way..and even if thats what we all do some of us do look at stuff like that and imagine what its like..its not like we just ignore that shit

man wtf with the insults??? i wasnt insulting u.. i was just saying.. i dont quite agree with ur point.. because nobody is exposed to the same lifestyle.. some children are forced to grow up faster then others.. and are exposed to harsher environments.. which in fact.. comes with wisdom.. in some cases.. thats all im sayin bro.. dont get soo defensive...
