My other job is doing the helpdesk, abuse control and PR/marketing for a community site similar to myspace which pays about 10 bucks an hour (for being online a few hours a day lol)

And I tutor some of my fellow students in college for some small cash.

I just got a high school diploma but what gets me jobs like the community site one is my languages. It's all about the skills lmao

What is the website you work at??? and how do you get a online job like that?????????

nobody forces them to come to the dealer besides themselves, the reason why america is the way it is is because people strive for themselves before others

It's 5 something everywhere. In other words, no matter where you live, they have to pay you AT LEAST that amount. Now, other employers can raise it if they want.

Neway...Here's my spin on it. When I was in between jobs--by choice for the most part--I took time to decide what it was I wanted to do. Now, I knew that based on my education level and experience, I could easily make over 25 dollars an hour. But, what if I couldn't find any job openings that met that criteria? Should I just sit there and starve? That's for the job seeker to decide. Like Mim says, I could have worked anywhere, even Macdonalds just to put food on the table. Pride is a factor there. But, ultimately, I think it's better to get dirty than starve.

I still fill that EVERYONE should attempt to go to college if they can.

I put down for what job I wanted "Any position availible" and for pay "Any." The next week I had a job.

Getting a job isn't hard if you don't trick yourself into thinking that as a 17 year old kid with no serious work experience that you deserve a high amount of pay. My job is shitty, almost all entry level jobs are. But, what the fuck do you expect? A corner office with a window or two? Please. You're going to be doing the dirty work, and those jobs don't get paid well. Instead of bitching about how hard it is to get a job why don't you go work a shitty job or two, get a good reference, and then try to move up in another company if you choose to leave.

getting a job for YOU might of been easy because most of the time your just in the right place at teh right time when it comes to jobs like this becuase there are so many of us young jocs wanting these jobs..

shit...i'm about to go eat and fill out some more of these damn applications.....hopefully i'll get a job...if not..it'll just be a damn shame....gotta work hard at it i reckon

^Man, I refuse to work in fastfood and have never had any trouble getting a job. And I refuse to work at the mall. And I still got a job withtin a week of when I applied at a few places. Just apply, apply, apply.

Shear Kaughn 09-16-06 06:11 PM
