Seriously. Do you people not realize that you're now trying to make it in a hip-hop industry where sales are falling off?

Do you not realize that none of you have the skills/commerical appeal for any REAL label to consider signing yoU?

Do you not realize that once your away from your friends & RV d/r, you're not anything special to anyone?

I'm trying to see what the advantage is to doing something like this, because honestly, I'm not seeing it. Unless you have a good local support (which you're too spread out across the country to really have) then this little label project is going to cost you more money than you'll make out of it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying anyone on here isn't talented or anything, but in all reality we have to accept the fact that right now, no one on here is at that level.

No beef, I'm just trying to see where people like you all & OYD are getting with this stuff. SPuL, we cool in all, but when I told you I thought this was a bad idea, this is the kind of stuff I think you weren't taking into condiseration. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong, but this is a message to everyone, not just calling you out.

So yea. This is my thought.

*waits to catch heat for this one*

how about u STFU and mind ur own business ?????????????????????????

good call..................

cuz no one fuckin asked you and ur talking out of your ass................and personaly, if u knew anything about actual hip hop OR rap..theirs a LOT of ppl on RV BETTER then ppl that ARE SIGNED......so you opinion means nothing and ur a fucking dueche bag..............

furthermore............eat a dick bitch !

and i don't use this term often AT ALL....but ur a hater man.........

listen you've been proven to be talkin shit by numerous peopl in this thread so there's no point in making a failed attempt to downplay someone who has a conflicting opinion with yours. and don't try patronise me like you have a superior perspective to anyone...and i guess people are better at spouting shit across your side of the atlantic...you proved it with this bullshit thread...

once again ...who in the hell are you...you mean nothing to no one on this board outside of rv so your negative opinion has zero effect in the real world...1

They have a chance, and they're working hard, if they keep doing what they're doing then who knows what would happen. You don't know, because you can't predict the future. There's a lot of rappers who start small, and then just blow up and become huge, if it happens you're of the lucky few, if not then you're along side the rest of the struggling artists. You can't start off the best, name me one label that started off putting out platinum selling artists? You're basically telling people "hey, you got no chance, and you're gonna fail, so give up." That's a wack fucking attitude. You don't know that, and basically you're just putting people down for trying to do their dream. That's not cool man, you aren't even giving constructive criticism just simply saying "Hey you're not gonna do shit". It's THAT attitude that will keep you from succeeding, honestly. You go into the music business telling yourself "i'm gonna make it, i'm gonna be huge" you need confidence and that's what's gonna bring you to the top. Life is too short to play it safe anyways. Go after your dream, set a goal, and don't stop until you get there, tell yourself you're gonna do it, fuck what anyone else has to say, fuck what anyone else thinks, you only live once so take a risk, because the reward will be great, and if you never reach that goal, atleast you'll be able to tell yourself that you tried no matter what anyone else said, that's real strength right there, it takes a real person to do that. That's determination man, never give up

Damn, that was long. But definitely on the money. That high self confident attitude is what I have towards my writing. Plus, if book companies are willing to publish the trash that Limited Edition wrote... then why not me.

Bitch, I fucking said something along those lines. :shoot:

Sir Smash'Alot 01-09-07 05:51 PM

it willl be hard to start a label with everybody around the country since you gotta rely on one person to get all the local support. And its not like you guys chill and shit in real life to really even know each other that well

King Solo 01-09-07 07:22 PM

I chill with Joe/Appocolyptik in real life. Fuck man, we both got wasted over the weekend with some dudes. A lot of people on here chill with dudes who are also on here in real life. Spek, Kesse and Red Bull all live like minutes away from each other.

Cola 01-09-07 07:23 PM

Red Bull is a fuck head.....fuckin dude lost ..n i picked him to win...
