You don't know Davids will conflict with Keane. Though yeah, it's more than likely. But such partnerships have worked before. I remember reading on a train about how much Davids respects and admires Keane. And how he saw his performance against Juve as the best he's ever seen. But of course, respect and admiration as an opposing player and as a viewer is different from playing TOGETHER in a midfield.
Who's Neil Mellor? Another snotty nosed upstart who'll probably end up playing for someone like WBA or Watford? Or a player of genuine talent and potential? Djemba-Djemba doesn't half have some vision. Long range passing is very good. But lacks in focus and basic short-range passing technique. And can be quite rash off the ball. As you said, hopefully it'll come. Kleberson looks alright though. Emphasis on alright. |
Neil Mellor= he is from Celtic n Real etc have noticed him as a youngster but now he has matured into a quality centre midfielder. Utd have more or less bought him ready for this summers pre-season. Was very Influential in Scotland winning there 1st leg against Holland N also missed there 2ND leg where they got trashed lol.
Kleberson is brilliant..I jus hopes he gets to grips like he has been doin since his shoulder injury. but it was like Ronaldo..everyone said he needed to quit all the skills, and he has to some extent. He looks like the player he was bought for being now. theres also strong Speculation utd are strong Fav's to buy Rooney in the summer. I'd believe it but....he jus doesnt like Utd!! & a lot of scouse twats have good morals |
Oh yeah. I remember the Mellor thing now. They only arranged the transfer recently. Still, i'll reserve judgement till i seen more of him.
Kleberson is good. But still has a way to go. He's done some good stuff. But also frigs up too. Ronaldo? Yeah, he's shown improvement. It was obvious he was gonna be more tricks than substance. And it'll take time to balance it out. He still does mess up quite alot. Rooney? Heh. That is all. |
lol...Rooney has the talent. Just aint consistent enough!!
He's got the Footballers Body, half the Brain also he jus needs to mature the other half but hey!!! he's a scouse |
^It aint that. It's the implication that he'll move to United, ever. Let alone at the end of this season. Football rumours can be so amusing...
|
yea suppose
Saha,Ruud & Rooney + Ole wot a strikeforce |
Id like to see Oshea Play upfield more often.......I see he has potential to do what Keane does, but on the far left.......
Your thoughts on that varentao..?? |
naw Oshea has always said he feels more Comfortable in Full bk
& that altho he has ability up field, there is too much talent @ utd for him to compete on the wing he was pissed off last season coz he was scuffled about so much but this season shud see him stick to the role of fullbk filling in for Neville now Rio is out N Neville will take up Centre Defence b/coz Brown still aint at that level yet |
^Dunno. Maybe. But as he's conditioned as a defender. And the amount of overall stamina and workrate required to fulfill such a role. Along with having to stamp yer authority and take control. Read the game both behind and in front of you more than you need to in defence. There's so much factors. I think peopel are jumping the gun a bit on that. He's had one excellent season. And now this season he's finding out what it's really all about. It'll be interesting to see how he further adapts to the game.
Time will tell. that is, if he's given the chance. |
Ohh Guys, Im not thinking about him jumping Far Up The Wing.....
I mean, Take control more of the bottom half of midfield..... Javier Zanneti played an amaizing Attacking Right Back for Inter and Argientina... However,Zanneti was built like an Attackin Player...Thinner than most Defenders... Where as Oshea is Big and tall....Im just saying he would make an amaizing defending Left midfielder......(Baring in mind he would still play *LEFT* back) |
Yes, i too was talking about the anchor man role. Unless you mean left wing back. In which case, it's unlikely. As Man Utd don't play that way. It doesn't suit them. And he isn't THAT good coming forward. Just very composed and able.
And Man Utd full backs do almost play as wing backs. If you look at how much times they are pushing forward and supporting. |
exactly Silvestre n Neville have been groomed to do that
plus..like Varen' said Utd are jus too attacking to rely on an Anchor man. ya cant be these days. Unless ya Birmingham which it works well for them |
^What i meant was that Man Utd don't favour the wing back system.
But they do indeed favour the anchor man system. That is the role Keane and especially Phil Neville fulfills for them. 4-2-2-1-1. Though with Saha, it could change to 4-2-2-2. Of course, the formation is not so rigid them remain this way. Keane pushes forwards. Strikers drop back. Wingers support attack and go central. |
