hahahahah, 0-9!!! lmao. yeah, AB is classic, and hopefully some peeps will check him out and learn something. i realize im only 17 and he was before my time, but when i discovered hip hop at age 6, when i really stared to listen to music and pay attention to words, after that i did my homework, and my family schooed me. what im trying to say is that even if you dont know about the roots of hiphop, its cool to admit it. you cant learn anything if you try to front like already know.

i agree with first post this is what seperates the mcs and wannabees which is knowledge on hip hop. wether its from history recent past and present.i read the scratch vibe and source. the scratch can tell so much more than what a beat is. Beats come from everywhere, from afrika brazil and china. you know why cuz beatmakers sample beats from unusual records and make into a no.1 beat. that instrumental u flowin off of right now could probably come from south america or an 80 's hit that was a rock and roll song. That shows how crazy hip hop is.
