Aiight, interesting topic.. You both came pretty differently, Acuity came with a directed story of someone on a farm that from what I could tell was lacking in rain.. And to me he vaguely brought the message that we take things like that for granted and dont ever really think about their real value to the way we live.. Which was good. Viscosity, you came with something a little different with your switches of perspective.. I liked it, but at times I didnt really understand where you were going with it. I think you were describing what rain is like to the different people/animals.. I liked it, and it had substance but I think it lacked an underlying message or moral.. I think the best way to do topicals is to try and teach people something with your verse. Or try and make them realise something they maybe didnt think of before. Cause thats what rap is, dropping knowledge, wether it be political, personal, social or any level.. So props to Acuity for his verse, I think he could of directed and emphasised the point a little clearer but I was able to get the message so thats what counts. V/ Acuity. |
