Because the way you said the first quote, it was like you was trying to like, justify them being racist because it wasn't there fault.. because they grew up being treated differently so they had a right to be racist. white people in general dont really stand on solid belifs.... most seem to not have a knowledge for there heritige or even were they originated...most simply say "european". other cultures/race's stand strong on there heritige belifs and religion, therefore they have reason for bringing up the past and using signifigant happenings to plant there foundation on grow there roots in and branch off in this world.

The N word is part of african/african american history. why forget history? The word was originited from hate.....Why not proper a race for turning negitive to positive and starting to create a life for there future youth who untill 1900/2000 have been treated like they are not apart of our world.

Ok look. I dont really know what turban is trying to say and so I dont agree with it, but my thoughts on the race card--

I've seen on TV, white people get openly paid out by black people in interviews where they do impressions of white people, I've seen dave chapelle make racist jokes towards white people on regular occaisions, I've seen black dudes say the word cracka, honkey, white boy and all that other bullshit, I seen Bill Cosby have a 'no whites' polecy on his tv show, I seen so many elements of white culture be openly attacked by black people on tv, radio, public speeches you name it. In movies, I've seen black people telling their kids to stay away from white people cause their evil..

And can you imagine the uproar if white people were to start a network like BET for 'whites only' television programming?

And this is just the media.. Whens the last time you heard white people on modern tv crack a joke about black people like it doesent even matter? Instead whites just usually give props to black people cause they dont want 10000 callers pulling race cards branding their network to be nazi's..

Racism works in both directions, but white people are usually passive about it cause we aint taught to pull race cards thats why it is how it is. To me this whole issue is insignifigant in the whole scheme of things anyway. So fuck it.

OSB: You'd have a valid point if it were actually based on facts. The "black schools" tht you're implying are shoddy schools. I can tell you live a sheltered life beause you've never seen such a school system. I'm sure you feel that all public scools are about the same as yours was, when in fact they're not. I used to go to such a school and I didn't have a desk. Me and 5 other kids sat at a round table and shared 2 books that were from the late 70's. The condition of the books is something of an entirely different converstion. As a matter of fact, I failed a math class as a direct result of not having a math book. Believe me man, it's not a matter of takign things for granted. It's a matter of not having things. 'm not saying it's always the case, but in the sitaution you mentioned, it definitely is.

sheltered life?... please.. ive been all over the world.. i have worked in inner city schools as a tutor.. i went to a catholic college prep all male military academy.. i know people that went to schools in the city and outside of the city...i don't know what the funding is like there but here in minnesota its fine.. education is a big thing.. i admire that you wanted to learn.. but can you say everyone in your class wanted to learn math?... ok you didn't have a math book.. do you not have libraries?... friends at other schools?...i could make a list .. its all about the drive and how bad you want it.. now i don't know the full extent of the situation so i won't say anything about your drive...
