Punchlines is wat make quotables..
And Big L did more than punchlines...
Listen to Causulties of a dice game to see his storytelling skill.

You put a wordplay-type line with the serious shit, so I was assuming thats what you wanted

if you want a shitload of non-punchline rhymes, I can give you people like Talib Kweli, Common Sense, Mos Def, Eyedea...etc.

Biggie was not consistent, he could have 1 or 2 good wordplay lines like a whole album...he didnt vary his subject matter and talked about the same shit all the time...THATS why I dont respect him because he is not as good as some of todays emcees...you have to face the facts, I like Canibus, but im not gonna say hes the greatest of all time because there is a chance someone can come along and do better...same way you cant say Biggie is the goat because its just impossible, there is always someone better then you, always.

peace

No,He doesn't.
Biggie IS better at storytelling..no denying it.
But I wasn't trying to say that Big L was better at Biggie at that aspect.

The point I wuz trying to make was that Big L was NOT one-dimensional and did more than drop punchlines..

Big L was better overall though.
