I'd been rapping on and off since i was young. but then one time during sports day when i was in like year 10 (UK) (=9th grade (US)) some dude was tryna battle people and he talked some shit when he was spittin. he dropped my name in his verbal shite, so i grabbed the opportunity to show him up....people were stunned cos until then only one person (who'd been round my house to DJ with me on a mix tape like a week before) had heard me. but i only first got into a studio last year cos there's a studio in the music technology department at my college :)
