Is it alright for black people to call white people "crackers" and "honkys"?

technically no cos its very offensive as it is purely about their colour. Whereas ape isnt just about colour, its look

I was just wondering, because they use it a lot in my area, but get really mad when I white person uses the "n-word".

ive never once heard cracker or honky used over here, but personally i cant see how cracker and honkey relates to our color and offending us???.... i mean, monkey/ape, majority of black people have nose's shaped like serina, and tend to have fuller lips, and then there is the skin color, thats where the words started being used to offend, n i feel too many people are ignorant to that fact, but cracker e.t.c..... how is that offensive to white people???? to me its just a slang word thats faster and easier to say than white person

EXACTLY, because as far as I'm concerned, APE is not a synonym for Ugly. What it was, was a disrespect of Black/African features--i.e., broad/flat noses, full lips, and dark skin. I don't see Red Bull calling an "ugly" white person an APE. It's disrespectful, PERIOD.

I tried to find something to post from b-boys, but the site is still down. It was a picture of one of the text heads there, a white guy might I add, who really did look a lot like an ape. A line about that was even used in a battle against him.

For the record, I think 50 Cent looks like a horse. A lot of white people say he looks like a gorilla, but that's only because they're stupid and think he's in the "Gorilla" Unit. Yeah, I just wanted to clear that up before any fingers got e-pointed at me for being racist.

Weather you want to officially title your self as racist or what ever, that's on you, but what you said is fueled by race. You may think you love black people, and may sleep only on black sheets and all that other We are The World bullshit, but what you said is definitely racist.
