I dont know what the hell kind of taste they have in Aussieland, but wow, it sucks. How can you think all that rambling actually means something? He might aswell rap about bling bling.

He spits about gangsta shit, hustlin, drugs.. (Translation, hes a rapper that talks alot but prolly aint done most of the shit he talks about till after his first album dropped---thatsreal--dont believe the hype and lies record companies put out... I seen his pic too.. he dont look all that hard.. He looks like a young mother fucker).... Seriously... Cats have been spittin that shit since the 80s man !!!!

oh, Joe Budden only raps about gangsta shit, hustlin and drugs? yes, thank you for provin my point. you ARE retarded. WOW @ lookin at someone's picture and automatically sayin he's too soft to have done any of that. Canibus is a skinny black dude with a big ass gap. ROFLMAO, I have never seen him split anyone's head into 2. Neither have I seen Eminem do that. I have never seen canibus or even HEAR of canibus even smackin someone or even to have a name in the streets period. I have NEVER heard about a Canibus fight, atleast I CAN say Eminem and D12 ARE down to scrap with niggas. Do you think eminem has ever went to hell and battled the devil!?! roflmao, thats the shit he will say.
"I'll kill myself go battle the devil come back ad live a good life so i can die and go to heaven to battle god cos i battle" blah albha blha blahs thats what the fuck he raps about

I cant believe your dilusional attitude towards rap... You got NO idea what your saying... Your jus trynna get at me in this argument by making up a bunch of crap that is a common misconception that people like you make because your naieve to how things REALLY are... Damn @ this argument...

How am I dilusional, if ANYONE is dilusional here its you, because you think Eminem and Canibus are the greatest rappers in the universe. and what "crap" am I makin up thats a misconception? ROFLMAO @ your random ass statements, you're soundin like Canibus with your random ass statements to try to sound intelligent out the blue. tell me how things REALLY are, since you seem to know.

I garentee anyone looking onto this is thinking "wtf is this will.sun.yu guy fuckin thinking"....

no, they're lookin into this like "wtf, Nostra is a total Canibus and eminem dickrider"

Self explanatory

Every warrior has an axe to bury
but he has to learn to discern between enemy and adversary
Talking about when he dissed eminem, Eminem was down at a press conference and he was saying that he respected Bis's lyrical skill but Canibus took some of his comments as shit talking and his insecuritys played a big part of why em and bis started beefing.. Hes saying that he should of not been so quick to diss back cause he didnt think before he spoke.. He essentually "had to learn to discern between enemy and adversary"...

I said to myself, "Germaine this is insane
its suicide its controlled flight into terrain"
I fought to regain, control of the plain, but went up in a ball of flames
and got banned from the hip hop hall of fame
For 2 bars I kept hearin in my head
over and over again, it cost me everything
This is where he is talking about being booted off Def Jam and being cut from the hip hop hall of fame. The bars in the question were "I am the illest nigga alive, watch me prove it / I'll snatch ya crown with ya head still attached to it". He said it in a battle against LL Cool J and LL took it to heart and saw it as a personal diss and that started beef which ofcourse eventually ended up with canibus being booted from the label and def jam began to pay off radio stations to not play his songs and a bunch of other bullshit..

And this doesent even scrape the fucking icing off this song.. There is so much to the song that you wouldnt understand if your a naieve ass cat that only likes hearing dumb shit about "hustlin and poppin caps, rings, rims" and other bullshit that average ass clowns like Joe Budden rap about...

You can call me un-intelligent.. But its pretty clear you got no idea what your talkin bout when it comes to hip hop.. I repeat.. Stop talkin buddy..

So because you wrote an essay on a song, that makes it the "deepest" song ever? Dawg, that logic doesn't add up. I'm sure you love the song, but writing an essay doesn't qualify it as the best "deep" song ever.

No.. He said that cause it literally is one of the deepest songs ever written..

Anyone who ACTUALLY is an authority on hip hop and understands what this song is about would say the same thing...

This is right up there on the same level with "Immortal Technique - You never know" and "Common - I used to love H.E.R."...

If you say different.. YOUR NOT HIP HOP....

I have listened to a lot of songs in my time. Its maybe not the deepest in its subject matter, but I mean deep as in meanings.

The way he used historical figures, and other dope shit as allusions in wordplay, ive never seen in another song. Even the songs the beats were sampled from mean something.

Im not saying because I was able to write an essay on it, its a deep song. Anybody could write an essay on anything. Im saying its a deep song, because it is.

authority on hip hop?

Spare me son

Those same "authorities" consider Jay Z to be one of the greatest rappers of all time.

You can't have it both ways Nos.

Either respect what the "authorities" say, or don't.

BTW, I call those "authorities" critics.

I did what you did
I schemed through the song
it was majority NERD RAP. He spits less then 20 bars out of 1000 and all of a sudden the song has meaning
and that snatch the crown punch wasnt the one
it was the get the mic off LL COOL J's arm punch
see, and PLEASE you cant go on ANY OTHER SITE and talk like this.
too bad RV is filled with a bunch of white teenagers I cant get anyone to back me up.
regardless, Joe Budden DOESNT rap about the stupid shit you're sayin he raps about.
And sayin he does shows how much you dont know what real hip hop is

^^^Exactly, anyone can write an "essay" on anything. That doesn't validate its importance. Also, calling something "deep" is relative son. I haven't actually heard the song so I wouldn't know. But, what I do know is that education levels and experience can dictate what one perceives as "deep" or not. I'm not suggesting anything about your education level. I'm merely suggesting that someone who isn't worldly would think mundane things are "amazing".
