It might look that way on the surface man, but these illegal immigrants' pay checks are still getting taxed all the same. These are checks remember, not cash. Companes like Walmart don't pay ANYBODY under the table, and neither do the unionized assembely plants, your local distribution center or the us govt. Pretty much, no business that's paying you with a check instead of cash.

Illegal immigrants are still getting taxed on top of that when they go to cash their checks, since they can't open bank accounts. The check cashing joint gets taxed and passes that right along.

also, remember the old business adage "a penny saved is a penny earned", and they're saving billions more than the hundred-millions thats slipping through the cracks.

I think they should stay here.

yea like apexx said they are getting taxed, when i worked with them we all got the same checks and you got the normal government taxes automatically deducted from them they work on the books

To all of the sympathetizers of the illegal immigrants...there are those looking for a better life...and then, there are the diseased and the criminals that pass through. There are those that are unable to get jobs, and end up crawling around in the streets of random neighborhoods and sleep in doghouses. Will the diseased be treated? Unlikely. Will the criminals commit crimes? Likely. The good comes with the bad, but Mexico needs to deal with its own economy and stop thrusting its sick and poor across the border. Will the people that pass through even get a better education? Doubtful...if they do, they probably won't speak good English either...and thus they won't be entitled to do anything but force Americans to learn Spanish in the bordering states...that's like me walking into your house and demanding you convert to my religion.

Still, there are those that deserve a better life...may as well friggin' fuse America and Mexico into Americo. Maybe if the whole little Iraq business is taken care of, we'll get a president willing to help out Mexico with its problems...and get at the source of the issue, instead of deporting those that'll probably come right back.

They don't get 'taxed', they get money withheld which then stays in the hands of the business they work for. They business doesn't have to pay taxes on that money because the government doesn't know it exists, we make so much money they lose track of it all.

I'm just sick of the smoochers that just live off of America and then go back to their own country with our money.

why bash mexicans for coming across the border when america stole california and texas from mexicans? :nono:

America is the last place that should be trying to keep ANYBODy out of ANYWHERE...when the entire country was stolen!! lol

bTW man, sick or not, criminal or not, your govt still finds it "worth it" to not come down on that because them and you save rediculous amounts of money.

Put it this way, if it weren't for workforces supplied by ilegal immigration, Bush would be facing riots in the streets form everyone protesting the insanely rediculous cost of living in the US. we already pay through the nose for gas, imagine paying 3x more for the food you ate today and the drinks you drank.

Take the good with the bad. The borders will NEVER close, simply because they can't and still keep peace.

nope. Their payhcecks have deductions like medicaid, 401k, social security and state tax, just like everyone elses pay check. Companies don't and can't keep that since they'd get audited out the ass for all the unclaimed profits.

I don't care how powerful the company is, they're still the IRS's bitch. The same immigrants still pay taxes on their daily purchases, just liek everybody else does, and the govt LOVES another tax paying citizen.

believe me man, financially speaking, there's not one single loss for anyone involved. The govt relies on this type of activity to make money. They don't care if its illegal, so imigration reform of any type will ALWAYS come slowly.

Ayo...word. Watch Bush install like a hundred foot high electric fence along the border to keep out immigrants and have it cost more than actually helping Mexico's fucked up economy.
