NO was flooded because they're feet under sea level! People have been saying that the flooding was bound to happen, but they've put it off for over 50 years. The city ranges from 1-10 feet under sea level. You do realize most of the US is about, 100 feet ABOVE sea level right? The systems of canals and levies have been making NO sink 3 feet every 100 years.

They knew perfectly well of the dangers of NO, and they decided not to abandon the city before it was too late. Also, the city of NO is known for its corrupt politicians, trust me, my dad and my two brothers are from NO. I think they know the city a little better then you.

It took Bush like, 5 days to get there? You expect him to be down there in a disease ridden city with desperate people and a city under water with no plan? He had to make a plan and find people that would actually go down there. He would have hurt NO more then helped if he had gone down with nothing.
