This is what I dont understand about most christians. They say all this stuff, but they dont even follow the philosophies of the man they worship.

Jesus said not to concern yourself with worldly things. If people make fun of you, you shouldnt care. You shouldnt care about what people think or what you are going to wear or your job or anything. Absolutely nothing in this world matters besides God. That is what we are told.

So what if I prayed for God to give me wisdom so I could ace my college entry exam? It's important to me, but do you think God really cares whats important to me? Like you said, we are his children. Often children are too young and naive to understand whats best for them. So why would he help me with it? If I do get into college, it means I am trying to get a decent paying job. If im trying to get a decent paying job it means I am concerned with money. The bible says money and posessions are nothing, and you shouldnt concern yourself with them.

Jesus says look at the birds in the sky. They dont have money, yet God feeds them. They dont have belongings, but God looks after them. In the same way you should not fret about worldly things, because are you not more important to God than a bird?

So many people have this wierd view of christianity. Where its OK to sin, its OK to do all this shit, christianity is just considered a little side thing in your life. Theres friends, social life, parties, school, work, house, home loans, and then religion is just a little side thing that you believe in and occasionally go to church on sundays so you dont feel guilty for all the sins youve been doing.

The meaning of the word sorry is that you truly regret what you've done, and realize that. It means you are going to do your best never to do it again. When you ask God for forgiveness, you have to be sorry and truly repent. Then you have to try and change your ways, and stop sinning. Thats wat Jesus taught. He taught people to be kind, to follow the commandments, he taught people to be good people. He was such a good man that he even said he will forgive you if you repent.

Why dont christians see that? I actually think its disgusting what christianity has become. People dont actually read and understand the bible, they just take peoples word for it. If you sin, it doesnt matter because God will forgive you anyway. You can sin all you want, as long as you say "oh yeah god forgive me kthnxbye im going to go sin again now."

I dont mean to disrespect anyone, especially you, vonny. This is just my opinion. Take it into consideration, but dont take it to heart.

Faith is determined by DETERMINATION..and IF you are REALLY DETERMINED to get that thing u want,u definitely wud be PACIENT(h/e dats written) and believe that u wud get it..and heaven helps those who help themselves..u cant just ask him to aid u on something or to help u get something and just sit down with ur arms folded..He is there to HELP..

At point Numba two..the bible says dont love material things..dont LOVE them more than God,which means u can be concerned cos God undastands that we r humans and we must survive with what we got on here..yeah u shudnt put 'em at the top of ur list other than God cos he's the giver of PEACE, JOY and HEALTH(life)..have u eva experienced that innermost peace and joy?wud u like to have a decent job and get decent payments without being happy,having rest of mind or gd health?...when u read the passages or sayings of the bible u gatta ask urself WHY..mayne the material non-loving things was said cos the devil is here seeking who to kill,decieve and destroy...MONEY is the begining of EVIL...check out most ppl,cos of money they kill..i know they gatta survive cos every1 gats to.. but why do they gatta kill when there r many other ways to get money?...becos of material things we develope anger,we do all sorts,...hat was said in the bible so that u'd be carefull not to put into action the temptations of the devil..Too much of everything is bad as they say and man is neva satisfyed(cos the devil is always putting pressure and more temptations in our mins)..dats y we christians ask for the Holy spirit to giude us and tell us what to do so we can get what we want the right way and live peacefully with it...

Not only money divides people. RELIGION DIVIDES PEOPLE. If all the religions of the world were one, the world would be united in brotherhood. Some people fight with others because they believe in different religions. If they only gave the matter a bit of thought, they would never fight for such a foolish cause.

According to christianity, I am going to hell. Am I a bad person? I strive for compassion towards everyone and everything, yet I deserve to be tortured for all eternity? Jesus, your God's philosophies and parables are very similar to my outlooks on life. You could say I am striving to be like him, indirectly.

But your church, your doctrine, says I am a bad person. Didn't their God say to them judge not lest ye be judged?

If theres one thing in my life I have learnt, it's that this world is dark. Only a few people can see here.
