what you're not thinking about is, there's a difference between freestyling and "not writing"... what Jay and Biggie say they did is not ever write their verses down, they just thought them up in their head and memorized them without writing them down. and thats what Wayne supposedly does for most of his album tracks, but he does freestyle alot of his mixtape tracks, and you can tell which ones they are if you listen to em... you can tell when somebody's just going off the top.
