The bible says God manipulated language, perhaps it was God him/herself that made everything surrounding the coming of Christ to follow the stars. I have no proof of this, simply the bible.

Let's just wander about the ideas that the bible portrayed, talking of great wars and battles in modern-day remote places, that scientists later visited and found that there were REALLY battles that took place there, thousands of years before it seemed possible.

Furthermore let's talk about the fact that the bible God owns the universe, couldn't he stretch it out to make it APPEAR to be older than it really is, but in God's time it's only about 9,023 years old? He just stretched that shit out in seconds so it looks like, by natural process, to be 15 billion years old?.........

Well, Thats a matter of opinion... i cant tell you what to believe. In my opinion, no it doesn't contain a lot of literal truths. It does however contain A lot of good lessons and examples in it, perhaps a few literal truths as well. But its all mythology. Just like the greeks.
