Its not me, its a UK head. Im hopping on a mixtape w. him, methane, n-demik and some other UK heads from round the way.
I also don't see why Big Brovaz are hated so much by you guys. They may not have great lyrical prowess. And using poppy-urban melodies and lyrics broken into the mainstream. But they're doing their thing.
They don't claim to be something they're not. And surely for the progression of UK hip-hop and what not these kinds of acts must also be allowed to come through. Not all people like the 'heavier' acts like Roots Manuva (been sampled a lot of late on programmes), Blak Twang, Phi-Life etc...but the more lighter like Big Brovaz.. |
I hate uk rappers who try to be american, not that I hate americans, I luv em, but I think there soo fake. Look at magic & meyham, they do have some sick lyrics, but there voice is soo untrue. Whereas compared to the hoodz underground/big chritz there just dope, ya gotta luv the birmingham accent :D.
Except the accent that the bloke out the streets has got. He needs his vocal chords ripped out and I volunteer to do it.
/:Ayura:\ Pm me. I tried Pm'n you but your inbox was full |
I Can't Take it Anymore
**Jumps Out the Window** |
bLaH british rap has no future unless they miraculously change their accent...they mite hav lyrics but if i cant hear them right then their juss weak. my opinion-
Some people dont have really strong accents tho. The ones with strong accents don't do themselves any favours by havin it tho
to be honest....i dont see the difficulty in understandin peeps...
and by the way....the national Rappin accent for UK hip hop is a london accent..... every1 uses it, Guvna..!! |
Yea true. We need some more leeds rappers and devon and birmingham and more yorkshire shit.
only good british "underground" rapper i herd wuz one from South London in soundlcick...i dunt remba his name but he had couple dope songs...daz about it
11th page. I wasnt expectin this many replies. LOL.
Im from just outside Birmingham, holla holla!
Most of this generation of rappers grow up listening to US hip-hop alone. So you go to expect some if not most edging towards US hip-hop style. It's like in rock. You see Led Zeppelin singing blues in a very american metal way. Yet two are from the Black Country (part of Birmingham with the strongest Brummie accent), and i think the others from London.
Baron God....Holla Wolftown..!!!!
anyway....i got a FUUUUUUUUUCKED accent.....but its strongly London cuz thats what every 1 i know and listen to use.. |
ohh and LM....im proud of you and your 11 page topic..lol....
UUUU.KKKKKK..!!! |

Yeah...he right^^^. People listen to and are influenced by what they grow up around. That's why I love rap so much, my friend introduced me to it a couple of years ago and I havn't looked back since. But unfortunatly the next generation of British kids especially are gon' get really involved with music like the electric dicks...er I mean six. Not to mention all the cocksuckin boybands and prostitution supportin girlbands. Damn the next generation have it harsh on them. Oh and Bigg E Z, I'm glad your proud. LOL |
