You are just new here, we had tons of pages like this with much more contribution and in deepth analysis. You have not even scratched the surface of conversation topics created in recent memory here on RB. The last memorible thread was created by Bsquared RIP... He had more thread pages, much more post, and intellegent people posting in them. Not ust kids looking to argue unfounded convuluted points. I do thank you for starting such threads, but you are celebrating way too early. Once repsected members start posting in numbers in your thread you wil see what I mean. Right now they are inundated with children and their mis guided ideas. I do respect the fact they they have a fire about them, which is good, now we just have to wait for the sands of time to cleanse socialist tendencies from thier heart strings...

Ok that was my free post, now on to the topic at hand. I think some are reading too into the Presidents intent here. It's not like he's going to drug test every student in every school. That would be a waste of time and money. eh administration is looking to hold the altheltic departments accountable for pushing performance altering drugs on to thier star altheltes. Any athlete competing in a nation competiton should be tested for such drug use, id this not fair? Of course it is, just imagine person A win a national compitetion, yet person B works hard is in shape and trains the right way. Person A, wins due to the level of chemical enhancers in his or her system. Not only does this send the wrong message out to our youth, it is a moral faliure. One that is becoming all too real, in todays competive world of sports. Person is cheated out of his rightful spot in the winners circle, and kids are misguided by the corrupt message implied by such, inaction only delivers that message home with much more velocity.
The impact of such, causes not only the moral fiber of young minds to collapse, but indirectly programs our children redefine what makes a winner. Untill you have children and are responsible not only in raising the child, but shaping thier moral fiber, ethic, and charecter, will most understand the Presidents concerns. From what I have read in this thread, kids are under the assumption that Bush is going to call every student in to a room and ask for a urine sample, that's ccomplete lunacy. He is working to make it a requirement for nationally competing athletes, at all levels, be tested for enhancement drugs. So dont worry about being called out of world Lit, in high school, to be tested for trace and or residule amounts of chronicaly induced herbal extracts. To derive such from the context of the Presidents call for open drug test's is rash and a bit niaive... Hey if you smoke, make sure you keep your head in the books, if you do other drugs, you might want to consider slowing down and stopping all together, if it's in conflict with your personal pursuit of happiness. I have worked with the best technical advisors/consultants this world has to offer, and not a one can claim to be perfect. The majority of forieng engineers I have met in my career have at one point if not still use recreational drugs of some sort. There domestic counter parts are no different. As a child, I would not expect kids to get involved with such habbits, since their idea's and views are still forming.

Look into a hobby? You have not the slightest clue as to what my life is like do you? I guess since you did not direct that am me specifically I will be nice, but I have several hobbies and a career and a life outside of my career and daughter and band and a life off the net and manage my time very well. Not to mention full time stuides in multiple fields, working in political camps for ranking officals, so my time here on RB, is usally when I have break in my work schedule... Yeah you can grow up and have a fullfilling life too, did I even mention just hangin out and getting wasted... Can't leave that out...

This is some funny shit, if our school was tested for drugs thne 85% of them would be taken away and we would have to close down, that's fucking awsome. I am clean though, ha ha, good tihng I never did drugs.
