Lol well naturally. I'd rather see both camel toes than one of those furry, 8 legged mofo's under my sleeping blanket trying to get some of my man junk. Any man who doesn't think like that must not have much sensativity in their man region.

and some of us don't rely on luck. they count on common sense.

Ok ok, here's where i'm gonna finally stop fucking around and actually come with a serious post.

Like you said, and also like I said, most predator animals won't decide to attack you if you just stare them in the eyes, and then walk backwards slowly, then slowly turn around and walk away. That's true, that has to do with their instinct. Insects are known more for using a "play dead" maneuver when they feel provoked, so if you get close they'll just stay very still until you distance yourself, then they'll make a run for it, or they'll wait until they think you're too close and be like, "fuck playing dead i'm making a run for it, and they'll take off."

However, I think you should watch some more animal planet, animals and insects are not the same thing. Wolfs, bears, tigers, etc... are not known to be extremely aggresive towards humans. Neither are most predator insects. These Camel Spiders are known for that though. You can say "He's fucking stupid, how the fuck is a tiger not aggresive?" Well, obviously a tiger is, BUT, you can train a tiger, you can train a lion, you can train a wolf, a bear, etc... You've prolly seen them starring in movies before. You CAN'T train a fucking Camel Spider though, that's for sure. You think I'd be testing my luck by turning to run as fast as I can from one? Maybe you'd be the one testing your luck trying to have a stare down against a giant spider. You don't know if its survival instincts will be the same as most other creatures. You're taking a chance man. Maybe the camel spider will think you're trying to provoke it by having a stare down with it and not running away from it as fast as you can. Because look at this way

A tiger, lion, bear, wtv, when they hunt their prey, they sneak up on it, get close enough, and then take off after it and try to bring it down wtv way that may be.

A camel spider, it dosn't go on chases, it sneaks up on helpless victims, numbs the skin so you can't feel anything, and then eats away without it's prey even knowing it. It dosn't hunt the same way.

So if I ran, i'm pretty sure the Camel Spider would be like, "well fuck chasing him, maaan, ima go find me some easier prey." I think someone staring straight at them taking small steps backwards tells them "shit, this dude isn't running, and he's not giving me any space to run, I guess i'll have to scare him off (bite the fuck out of him)"

Now I could be wrong, or I could be right, but i'm letting you know right now, I know a lot about bugs and animals and shit.

Now tell me one last thing, wich is less threatning to you

A. A man with a gun running from you as fast as he can

B. A man with a gun staring you down and slowly backing away from you

Valerie 05-26-06 12:28 AM

are they poisonous?

JTR 05-26-06 12:30 AM

^^ Nah, but they do unleash a anesthetic to numb the area that they chew on, so if while they're making a meal of your flesh you won't even feel a thing, how convenient.

*note to self, watch more "animal planet"* man i on't know about you, but i never met any 'wild animal' that needed to be "trained" to defend them selves. at the same note, I don't know any animals that aren't trained to book from conflicts they can avoid. you're a food source, not an enemy lol. a leech ain't gotta try to fight you, the parasites on the fish ain't gonna try to fight the fuckin fish lol etc etc.

your immagination is runnin away man

JTR 05-27-06 02:12 AM

Iunno, you have to admit, in some sense I have a point, you can't know for sure if i'm right or or wrong, or if you're right or wrong. Maybe the camel spider will chase something that runs from it, maybe it won't, maybe it will attack something backing away slowly, maybe it won't. I'm pretty sure in this case i'm right though, but we both aren't arachnid experts, so there's really no point in us arguing who would and who wouldn't get bitten. =\

ehh. you're still talking about spiders, I've BEEN talking about animal instinct.

you're right, no point in going on.

JTR 05-27-06 02:43 AM

So have I, you must have missed something

All I was saying is that all types of animals have different instincts, and you can't base what the camel spiders instinct would be on those other animals instincts.
