The reason why Germany was dirt poor after WWI is because Austria Hungary pulled out of the war after Germany jumped in to help them, which left Germany as the main opposing force. So when the treaty of Versaille was signed......all blame was placed on Germany and all war expenses had to be paid by Germany. Making Germany the definition of broke.

whoever said hitler was dumb is the biggest jackass in the world.
hitler was one of the smartest military leaders of all time, same with Napoleon. both were very brave and charismatic and amazing public speakers. they had the crowd listen to them and want to support them, hense their popularity and ability to pull off some of the most brutal acts in all of history. France opened too many fronts (battle of waterloo) and Napoleon was defeated. the same thing happened to hitler. if he werent so greedy he could have owned half of western europe, easily. but he wanted more.. as any other person with a taste of power would. his hate for the jewish people was totally apart from his quest for taking over the world, and as evil as it was, he had very smart and effective means for doing his horrible crimes.

Well for starters he's his fathers son. And then there is his deep and unwarrented hatred for all things colored. Plus he has strong ties with the Ku Klux Klan.

I fucking hate the Klan. Claiming they were the reason for Germany's troubles.. And there were so many more people that werent jews and what not, that they went along with it...Then again..who wouldnt go along with a plan when its between life or death and/or poverty..As long as it wont be YOU.

The economic crisis going on in Germany was terrible...

Bottom line

Hitler did what he had to do to try and gain control of the entire world.

That was his goal.

And in his quest for Godly powers, he commited some of the most inhumane crimes ever commited, which makes him far from great..More like a greedy racists selfish bastard that should burn in hell for eternity.
