Peep this. Proz used the word "belief" to describe his hope that Pac was alive. But, the basis of his belief is in the hope that people are lying to him to make it true--i.e., a cover up. Now, Indeph compared Pac to Jesus. Therefore, he's taken Pac out of his true element--human being--and set him up to be a deity. If someone chooses to make Pac-ism a faith, they are certainly welcome to do so. But, my challenge to that thinking is to expand your mind to consider history. Cults and religion are different. People will worship rats and roaches if you convince them. So, my whole point was that logically speaking, it makes more sense to deduce Pac is dead than alive. I seriously doubt Jesse Jackson, Pac's Mom, Suge KNight, and hundred of other people are in cahoots to hide the truth of Pac's death.

There's nothing in my religion (Christianity) that tells me to "lie down and let Indeph walk over your beliefs." In fact, the word even teaches us to "contend" for the faith. Jesus was not a wimp. He doesn't want his believers to be "wimps" either. You may not like my style of debating, but that's neither here nor there. I'm well within my rights as a Christian to stand up for God's word and even argue it. This conversation isn't even deep. You think your disdain for Christ is something new? People have been rejecting truth since the beginning of time. It's alright for non-believers to stand up and say, "I DON'T BELIEVE SO RESPECT ME." But, it's not okay for the people of God to stand up and say, "I'M A BELIEVER, REPENT." You have me and the context of what it means to be a believer twisted. I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God made you a free moral agent. That means you have the choice to do what you want. But, we all have to give an account to God for every word and deed. Yes, even I do. The point is no one is saying Pac is God or a deity in here. Indeph made a comparison to Jesus as an example. He didn't say Pac is a faith anywhere in his posts. I think you could be looking into what Pro said a lil' farther than what he meant.

The discussion shifted about religion and Christianity. Now, I would explain what I was doing, but you'd find a reason to say it wasn't so. But, to amuse you, I was explaining to him what I not only believed, but what's said in the bible. AFter I answered his charge of "prove there is a God" he called me an idiot. Now, had we been talking about cooking cookies, I'd conclude he called me an idiot because I know nothing about baking. BUt, since I am a Christian and profess salvation, which I am saved thanks be to God, he's calling a Child of God an "idiot." He'll have to deal with that.

I chose to use this as an opportunity to show that God's word can apply in modern situations. If indeph and whoever else doesn't like my style of debate/discussing, then there's no love lost.
