PROBLEMS WITH EXTENSIONS


Yeh, it is kind of gay how a lot of people are pulling bitch moves and not granting extensions so they can get easy wins.
Personally, I think that if a person wants an extension then they should send you a pm or contact you in some way and ask for one. Then it would be up to you to grant them the extension or not. It should never be the battlers choice, because a lot of people will just be gay so they can get easy wins.
You would have the right to turn down the extension request if you think the person does not deserve one... I.E. - They are constantly bitching, dropping late all the time and basically being an ass.
Then, if you refuse the extension then it would fall to the battler to decide whether he wants to grant it. So, just because you don't think the person deserves one the other battler may want to give it to him anyway just so he can have a battle.

I think this league should have an entrance requirement to it. Nothing tough, as long as someone is at least okay they should be admitted. However, the following was a verse posted this week in the league:

People like this shouldn't be accepted into the league because for one, they are a waste of time to the people with actual skill who face them. Also, they give a terrible image to the league. If we want to continue to get top heads from different sites, I think they would be more likely to signup if people like that weren't in the league. Finally, these people generally don't know anything about voting either, so if they drop wack votes, good heads might leave.

Simple solution is, if you don't know who they are, make them post a few links just to check up on their skill level.

I was lookin' at this week, n' there were a LOT of no-shows... I was thinkin', maybe this league should implement a bigger penalty for no-showing? AKA, right now, people just have to sign back in the next week.. maybe say they aren't allowed to have a match for 4 weeks or something like that if they no-show.

lol, don't call me the bitch man, I was asked to close it, I didn't really want to, but had to due to the rules. The rules also made perfect sense, most other people seemed to understand them and like them... all you had to do was read them.

Anyway, yeah, league might lose interest from... people who are known for no-showing. You don't want people like that in a league anyway. Whatever, was just an idea.
