I'm trying to focus all my attention on writing my book now so I don't really have time to be stepping away from that to write verses for league battles and shit. it could be non ranked battles or just grudge matches
or you could make matches like Da trus vs Kempo in a mod battle
just to entertain

Yes, its not that I can't write loads of lines and shit. Its just I really want to focus on my book. And the thing that has prevented me from really getting anything done on it over the past couple of months was battling in the LBL. It has nothing to do with the time I took away to battle in leagues and shit. Its just writing for something else like that consistently as I did every week kept breaking my focus and creativity and I was finding it hard to get back into writing my book after doing a battle verse.

As far as the RV Series goes... obviously I already let dudes know there won't be any next week. But after that, I'll see how shit goes and decide on whether or not to continue it. I want to, because I enjoy writing it but my main focus right now is on my book and its all about priorities. And if it comes down to a choice between writing a small series on an internet site for the amusement of other people, and completing my book in the hopes that it will be published then I'm going to go with my book.

Its like a lot of people on this site put a lot into their music if that is their dream in life, to break into that industry. My dream is to be a writer, both book wise having my work published and TV wise like writing for a show. So, I guess I do have an incentive to continue with the RV Series because it is good practice. I don't know though, I'll see how shit goes I guess.

Text is a dying trend in my opinion. Or, more accurately one that is in a way being passed over. You've got so many new kids stretching their legs in the text area of battling and bringing a lot of new styles. Whilst, all the old school heads are slowly slipping away and getting beyond the whole 'text battling' and moving on to other things. There are still a few left still flexing in the leagues, but not a lot.
