OH...and for the record people, temptation is NOT a sin. Jesus was tempted.

The analogy most often given is of a bird hovering above a nest...You can't control the bird hovering, but you can stop it from landing..i.e., you can't stop the temptation, but you can control whether or not you ACT on it.

If a person is a fornicator (GAY OR STRAIGHT) then...they may be tempted to "get wit" somethin nice that they see...

However, there's nothing that can make you pull your PENIS out your pants and stick it in...That's YOUR CHOICE.

It's time to grow up people...y'all are grown now...not 13 year old boys with no self control.

So...don't confuse constant TEMPTATION with constant SIN. They're not the same thing...and being tempted often isn't "living in sin". Not the same.

God knows we're going to struggle. There's no sin in that. Get real.

So you're telling me this. You have lied. You have prolly accidently stolen a pen from work or school. You have looked at a women with lust and even watched porn. And you were prolly sorry for your sin. Yet, you will always do it accidentally. You will always commit sin. Everyone sin's. You will always sin. Its impossible to not sin. God will "always" forgive you when you ask for forgiveness but truly mean it. So since you are a catholic. You know that none of your sins are forgiven because most of the sins you are sorry for will be committed again.

What gives us the right? Okay first of all. The Bible says make disciples of Jesus. What does he mean by that? Does he mean dont do anything? OR actually spread the word? Hmmmm. Only Jesus can save them. We never said we can save them. Jesus saves them, but we deliver the word and they choose to believe and accept Jesus into their life or not. What gives us the right to try to save people? Um God. Tell me this. What gives priest's the right to say "God has forgiven you." Why go to priests and ask for forgiveness when the Bible clearly states that only Jesus can forgive them and only confess TO JESUS. Not the priest. What gives catholic priests the right?

Exactly...not to mention in Matthew 23 where Jesus says "Call no man on Earth FATHER"...and the FIRST thing you say at confessional is "Bless me FATHER, for I have sinned..." hmm


Well...let me be real right now...through all this talk...through all this speak of holiness and righteousness, we've been sinning in the meantime like Dabatos said...

No one is perfect...

But God is able to purge us...and cleanse us from our sin...

Even if we don't have a MAJoR slip up...we're still imperfect beings saved by a perfect Savior.

i have, but what does that prove? what does that accomplish? nothing other than i don't have to go to hell when i die, eventhough i think the concept of heaven and hell is dumb. i'm just makin the smartest decisions possible and takin jesus and God so serious as to think they are gonna do anything special with my life is just hopeful thinking. i dont have what it takes to use the bible to change the world or even the ideas of my friends because other than not going to hell theres not much use of believing in Jesus.

one of a few things jesus is gonna do for you is let you be accepted by people that go to church, and if they didn't accept you prior they are dick heads. I dont wanna go to church just to chill and talk with people that believe in Jesus, whats the point of that? to help me get through my day? well, ok, but if jesus wants me to be doing things with my life and i believe that then yeah that may do something for me, but if i thought that same way about budda it'd prolly do the same thing.
