D-Bo nigga, boss up!

we speak English because they started the language, yes
but English is based off of other languages like Latin, lol

but also, we took English from there to here and butchered the FUCK out of it, most Americans couldn't speak proper English to save their lives...can't conjigate verbs or use nouns and prepositions in the correct way LMAO

so you're both right and both wrong lol

but yeah U.K. rap is lyrically superior to U.S. rap

THE END

And once again, even though there are a lot of mainstream cats talking about that stuff here, there are also a lot talking about other stuff, so calm down with that "U.S has a bunch of meaningless lyrics" type shit.

first off.. i never said there isnt ANY of that shit here.... when u look at the ones doin the @club@ tracks, it isnt uk hip hop... its grime, the new age garage(why u people cant understand the difference between uk hip hop and garage i really dont know)

and we do get people tlkin bout the streets here but not in a way like americans do... americans promote that shit, but the UK heads tend to talk about in in an educational way or in a way that describes what its like, but not like we hear from americans bein like "ima shoot you in the face" type shit jus to fit the image.... n the only tracks ive heard in UK bout fuckin girls are done with humour to them but i havent heard that many tracks with that vibe.

also, i never once said that americans never talk about stuff other than guns e.t.c.... but that is what most of the ones with any kind of status talk about.. and for the record, i come from an area faced with gangs, drugs, guns and violence... ive been stabbed, and had a gun to my face, but u dnt hear me playin that played out bullshit character in my music do you??? no, exactly

Indeph 11-06-05 02:52 PM

Maybe you should. Thats what music is and shit. EXPRESSION. Not "I can't talk about this because its not right". Americans just go all out. We don't bite our tounges.

I wish :(

leady 11-06-05 02:58 PM

but i dont want to express that..... im not the type to spit about that shit and "dwell" on the past.... i dont need to put my buisiness out there for other people to hear, its my life, i dont need to tell everybody everything about me in order to sell music, id rather be me creative and show the real skill i have, plus i enjoy it so much more spittin about creative stuff rather than generic played bullshit thats been said a trillion times

the only reason lame American rappers r in the mainstream iz bcuz ppl r buying their albulms....... ever since Pac and Biggie, lames that wanna keep their street cred. without livin in the hood have made whack albulms about how othe rappers r fake and they keep it real in the hood..... if little ignorant ass kids stopped buying their albulms, they'd stop making them, and u'd think better of US rap..... the only way to get to know what rel US hip-hop iz like iz to look past the mainstream and search for the underground rappers...... look for the lyricists...... we're here........

Daubs 11-06-05 03:11 PM

you dont have to be from the hood to be able to rap chip.

leady 11-06-05 03:25 PM
