Beat - I always loved this beat. T-boz and Da Brat killed this. The vocals in your first verse are about 2-3dB's too loud. I'd turn the inensity on the reverb down a bit too. Flow got lumpy in some spots. The deliv is EXACTLY like pac's circa 1989. Just mostly shouting and no real variance in it which is a shame. The lyrics were on point but the deliv was 2Dimensional through the whole track. The last line finished off flow too man which is a big no-no. It's not a bad track by any means, but I've heard better from you and EXPECT better. Rapped yourself into a corner now. Better deliver straight A's or everything else will soudn like a C. This would be a C IMHO. Think you owe it to your self to re-record it and fix that flow, turn the levels down a little or at the least turn the levels down on the existing vocals - but I'd still opt to re-record if I were in your shoes.

can't say that i've heard everything you've done, but what you've linked me to has been pretty nice. Same thing here. Good flow and whatnot, seemed fluid not off beat or anything like that. Lyric wise cool stuff, fuck ya from behind have you limpin like a c-walk, that made me chuckle, lol. You've got the distinctive accent but i thought the delivery was clear enough to where could make out everything you say. But was there like reverb on the hook or something? It kind of sounded like it, though it might be because i have to listen lo-fi, i dunno just wondering my speakers aren't the greatest. Anyways i'm sorry i can't give much of a critique, but i'm not really in a position to say what ya could have done better being i'm not much of an audio head and i would just sound stupid, lol. Lol @ american em sce.. I enjoy releasing these tracks on RV, but understand I do rap primarily for an Australian audience.. As for sounding like Tupac.. I think its just cause I got a base type voice.. I mean Pac has been a real big influence to me as an artist no doubt but I dont get into the whole Thuglife type thing cause I do live in a different culture to what pac grew up in.. But probably when I get down and rap for the ladies I know I've taken a few notes from his music.. :thumbup:
BTW I'm gonna be re-recording this with new hooks & shit.. Consider this as a preview type thing.. I might even add another verse.. Well have to wait and see.. The way I did this was by cutting off loop points and re starting the beat for the second verse.. So I basically got complete control over what I can do with the beat itself.. Listening...dope beat...fuck you sound like Pac, I swear...Nice flow, nice lyrics...I think your voice is bein' loud as it is nice...it's clear, and the quality is great...hook is pretty good...this is a very nice track, keep up the good work. Beat/Production: The beat ain't bad, its pretty much looped straight though. I guess it fits you, but definitly a throwback feel to it. Ol'School style. Lyrics: Lyrics weren't bad, there was sum parts where you were above par with them, and then you dropped to basic shit. But wasn't bad. Flow: Flow was choppy in a few lines, the way you pronounced your words didn't hit with bass line, but besides that your flow was straight. Delivery: Delivery probably your strongest point, because you have a lot of emotion. I think this is what makes your songs stick out because of that sound, plus the whole Tupac feel. Quality: Nothing wrong here..shit was clear beyond muffled. Overall: Decent track, short though...yea you should add another verse to this shit. What you should do is teach me some more high-tech production skills within Cool Edit Pro 2.0. I would rate this track a 8.5/10. Keep At It. Only thing I could say that would be a negative with your rapping, is that you sound like Tupac, and no industry is gonna sign someone who sounds like someone who died from a gun-shooting and had such an impact on the industry....blah but maybe I'm wrong because they did sign that one cat who sounds like Biggie. ~R~ |

Beat...good...i...like...very...much...no more playin lol...this was a decent joint to be honest i dunno what DJ is on about coz i really feel the Aus accent on a track but that's prolly coz our accents in pronounciation terms are similar but it's something i feel doesn't affect your songs at all.
Lyrics and flow were something that really caught my ears they were real dope some of the best from ya i liked the adlibs too they were well placed and sorry but you sound like Pac...shame i got that started coz everyone agrees especially the last bit..."Them is my last words" sounded real similar...but overall very good joint...downloaded it too so this def is good to me...keep em comin you and a few other people here are seriously the only reason i'm still here so keep doin ya thing...props dawg. |

you had really good quality, nice lyrics as you usually do, i like ur voice, but on this track it seemed like u were just yellin on the mic..... show emotion but dont yell..... the reverbs is alil much as some sed, but im cool with it..... decent track i think, but not up to some other shit u made because of the yellin u seem to do on the mic...... i noticed the pac voice along time ago, and i dont think u needa shake it, its just the way u sound..... overall nice track, but u personally can do better.. i have a link in my sig to return the favor wen u have time....

you've outgrown your quality... go buy something :) ... cool choice of beat, you come on solid (couple pops tho)... the song is pretty cool, energetic as hell, catchy bridge/hook - your flows not as complex as some of the songs I've heard from you, so thats the only downpoint, but you got a great grasp of what your doing, I like this song, it has a real tupac vibe to it man, sounds like he's a big influence on your style... keep droppin em.. peep "My Haoutz" and drop some feed...1

I just listened to act like you kno. I don't hear the tupac style, maybe with his early sh*t your beat has that feel. You hit the beat real good sometimes, but sometimes it kind of sounds like your talking. But overall it is decent. Better then half the shit on here, check my shit out too, i take criticism good, plus I got those hot beats

The mixing needs to be fixed up..the vocals is a tad loud....the delivery is bad..your jus shouting...an ya lyrics are no where near as intense as ya delivery...you should calm down a make ya flow more melodicbut still hype.....throw some multies in ya flow..it was good but coulda been better...the lyrics was cool....overall track coulda been better 7/10
