Help With new program (MAC)
 

Yo i just got this new beat making program for MAC called garage band (there was a post bout it not to long ago).. but the problem is all the loops sound really rock and roll... i cant make a good beat to spit over... Any suggestions from owners of this or ne tips in general.. Like adding my own beats and not the given loops.. Thanks

ok for all the dumb asses out there Mac's are way better for Graphics and video and MUSIC .. than Windows systems by far.. but the down side there is not as much software out there for them. Thou Pro Tools is awsome on it for sure... Im sure there are some good beat making programs out there... I know at Blue Summit Studios they Use Pro Tools but they make alot of there beats from extural sorces like MPC's and samplers ect. and Midi. with large selections of Soundbanks. So if you got a good mac system I eveny you greatly... somday I would let to set up a mac system the major cost is what is setting it back currently. SO Im stuck with windows for now. make due with what you have. aight that is my 2 cents

Word at macs being overall Better for processing but you need to drop over a G to really get shit goin where on windows any lazy bum can get what they need off soulseek

Ive never used Hot Loops so Have not a clue sorry

Garage Band

ok, you can use any loop in any sound format, but stick with .aif(f) or .mp3.
What you want to do, is just drag it on to the timeline, creating another layer. Move your mouse on the upper half of the end of the sample, and drag to the right while holding down the mouse button, this automattically loops the sample. Now whatever tempo you set the song to be at, all other sample's will be configured to that BPM.

Hope that helps. Also, go to Apple.com, and download the .pdf manuals on how to use the program properly.

or you can get Reason that makes beats on PC and MAC's they made it for bolth with the same files

cant download it cause its impossable to crack.... plus i like the program i have its just some samples would make it respectable.. im still searchin..

really i thought u needed like the orchestra cd or w/e plus like 2 crack codes.... how u do it..?
