What program did you use? the instruments sound cheap.

most are stock FL or modified FL.

i have a bunch of kits but i just started doing it for real so im practicin wit the stcok.

I repeat. You can't flow on them, there is no repetition. Yes you can flow on them if you memorize the whole song as one single loop but good fuckin luck....I tried 3 times over and there was no way of tellin what type note was coming next.

believe me. Im not runnin in here an insulting, Im stating a fact. Didn't think I had to get into the details. Yes, beat making is very difficult. But what ur doin isn't beat makin ne ways, its just takin snippets and arranging them. Reason is a good place to start if you want to make a beat.

Dude, first off if you can't flow to them, then your just off.
You can flow to a metronome, which is what rock star basically is.
Metronomed drums with a slight switch and mixed with a loop i had.

I'm at a loss as to why you can't flow to them.
Its not hard at all.

Acoustics, when I played the melody (which is a little loud anyway) I made sure it was easy to catch. Plus those drums are just simple as hell.

I didnt listen to your beat yet but your print screen image has no sens, 2 intros, 2 intros number 2, then 3 hooks, then an intro, then 6 verse, then 3 hooks , then 1 intro, cant wait to listen to that!

Theres a repitition of sounds isnt there? His bars are very short. Somthing that plays once, then plays again, is a loop.

You can see it in his picture, the same compisitions have been placed next to each other, there for creating a 'loop'
no its not the best loops, nor is it usable, but it IS a loop and is possible to rap on.

The Acoustic beat definitely has potential if you add something to it. I thought that was the best beat of the two..

You can rap to the beat. it's a 4/4 count. the only thing is that it's hard because you can't ride the beat. there's no back drums helping you to stay on a 4 count. As for it not being a loop, it is obviously a loop because the same thing plays over and over in four counts. Young, you're pretty good for a beginner. I'm not a beat maker or anything, but just a suggestion, put some drums to carry the rockstar beat. if you put that deep bass drum on it, it would be dope, and it still feels kinda empty, try adding small stuff here and there to fill the beat. Just a suggestion from a listener.

Jett, it does loop, and you can rap to it, it's just more difficult, you need good rhythm.

if you listen Intro 1 & 2 are the same thing, i just dropped the snare.
its because when i was doing the beat i was actually freestyling to it
and i dropped it to add a litttle more to it.

I just named it like that to know my placements.

Its the same melody, and hi hat..

its kinda like a break down..
to slow the pace of the fast snare..

its not that hard to catch..

the first one is kinda fucking hard to flow, the drums are really weak, its kinda annoying, NEVER USE FRUITY LOOPS SOUNDS!!! download them at www.sf2midi.com they have some good soundfonts but imma say like Jett, you cant flow on it(Im talking bout the acoustic beat)

for the rock beat, this one is way better, but its way too repetitive, add a bass line or something, the drums are really weak again, now this beat its possible to flow on it

It's not that hard to be honest. Just read a few basic tutorials and you'll be good. It takes a while to get shit chimed in together right.

eh. im more into just getting a feel for it,
i can read music (slightly) and i know all the basics.

these are my first ones that got more attention than 5-15 minutes.
im steadily working on playing music/reading/making beats better.
