Help Rebuild Front Lines
 

Okay so i've been modded and i've been doing things to try and clean up/activate front lines more... i'd like some help from someone though so any suggestions that would help would be appriciated... if you do well enough you might get a mod spot out of it.

Its called lead by example, go in there and vote on battles, go in there and battle. Instead of 'looking like your doing somthing' with a LL thread.

if only there was a way we could somehow implement a system where contestants formally bet money and the winner takes all on battles over the net...

that would make front lines a definite hot spot


would require a panel of unbiased judges though...

shit, id do 30 battles a week if that was the case.

thats the big question though, if its not pming for a verses niggaz will start paying

dick riding in the front lines is insane. and like you said, u want unexperience 12-18 year olds in there, and they aren't gonna know how to vote on whats good, everything would go over their heads. the front lines should be closed, and there should be a productive league.

now the problem with that is that they will come to LL to get all those posts and by time they have like 500 posts they will just feel like chillin in LL with the rest of us, neglecting the front lines, putting us back at square 1

leagues are always going to be around just like front lines. Just like DR... and everyone that joins this site for text isnt going to know what to look for unless theyve done it before so your shit is retared.. also all of the greats on this site started out with shit going over their head, theres always going to be people on sites that are just nasty and some people wont get. if thats the case than people can start explaining shit again after thier verses.

To add to that if thats the case we should just bring back EFL to make it easier.

but on the real, there should be link to tutorials along with the rules u got posted in front lines so people know how to notice wordplay, and even to a few good battles for examples on what to do.

yeah, what ever happened to that? (there wasn't enough ppl voting for there to be two different front lines, but i think we've elevated past that, cuz we know who people are on this site better now, so a talented battler wouldn't get their verse slept on now.)

i dont know what happened to it, but you have to have a certian amount of wins to be able to open up a battle there i believe thats what the problem was was that the people that had enough wins wasnt battling in efl so it got taken away.... but yeah

2v..I told you I'm down for a league. I think we could get enough people.

i almost think that if u had a leauge u only had to drop one verse every two weeks, with less regulations would be better. that way people that dont have much time to write can participate and also if people really wanna drop verses they'll wanna open a battle between battles. ya dig.

i dont do text really anymore... i close battles and check them each day almost to make sure there is valid votes and that there are no ko's slipping by.

nothing can save this site... if something was done to stop its decline back in the day.. then maybe.. but now its pretty much.. fucked.

btw darkmanner sorry bout that bullshit with the battle.. meh.. i shouldnt have even bothered setting it up
