Im re-searchin some breeds of dogs, because im thinkin of gettin one...

Now information is all good on web pages...But i need Info by peeps who have experience...

So state your Breed, and give your oppinions on experiences...

well the only dog i have ever seriously been afraid was a cross breed

pit bull and great dane....dog was huge and i retained most of the pit bulls appearance with the size of the great dane

shit scared me a lot

Boxer (with a long tail..lol)... it's 5 yrs which is pretty good for a boxer..called 'Broxi' after the Rangers mascot...!

Boxers are outstanding.

Im interested in a Boxer...But, im more leaning forward in the direction of a Irish Staffordshire Bull Terrier.......

If you want a big dog, it is better to start out when they are pups.
And don't abuse them, especially Rottweilers, Pit bulls, or Dobermen. They will return the abuse, and it will not be pretty.

Medium sized dogs and small dogs are good for apartments or small houses with little space and/or a small backyard.

Toy dogs(Chiuahuah or however its spelled, Pomerians)
Are good to keep in apartments, but they still are alot of work. Also, keep them from big dogs, because their ego is 10x bigger than they are. They can go alot of places big dogs can't, but their is a loss of protection.
I, myself, prefer large dogs, preferrably the Doberman, but also, you can't base decisions on what you prefer(sort of) you need to consider that they do need some space, and they need responsibility.
I have lots of expierience with dogs, though I never owned any. But there have been many at my grandparents' house in The Dominican Republic, so thats where I usually get what I know.
My friend in my building has a cocker spaniel which is a smaller dog but not a toy dog. It gets aggressive and the mofucker is small. Oh and if you don't want alot of pups, let it run around humping whatever(opposite or same sex) and then get it neutered, because that stregth comes from when they wanna fuck. And they'll fuck anything.

I have 2 pits and a pure breed cockerspaniel.

my cockerpaniel is the mean one...

i've had a doberman/chow mix definately a fierce and big mix...

if your not oppose to mix breeds, I'd say adopt... terriers are one of my favorite breed, but need constant attention and they're very energetic... i have AKC breeder contacts and they maybe in your neck of the woods...

right now i have a choclate lab, and a chehuaha(how ever its spelled.) both of them are good dogs. the lab is still a puppy so she is kind of dumb but she is a good dog.

and the chehuaha is mean but she only scares little kids so she is worthless. unless you want a dog that barks when ever someone comes in your yard. she saved me from being caught watching porn a few times :laugh:

i used to have a pit, but she killed my neghibors dog so my mom made me get rid of her. she was built, she looked like one of those champion breeds. pits are good if you dont have kids around, but i wouldnt trust them around little kids they are to mean..

And I took care of this Pit Bull, the most beautiful one I've seen, she was a puppy, and really strong. I think little kids annoy Pits, because though they are violent in nature, they won't attack for the sake of attack.

exactly, little kids abuse dogs, they pull tail, ears, fur. but pits are more likely to bite then anyother dog, alot of dogs will jus take it, but pits will turn around and bite them.

Yeah i know....There was this couple who jus had a baby....And their dog (^^) ate the baby to death....

I lived and was raised around pit bulls as long as I can remember my day had pits. He breed them, fought them, sold them. Never once did any of our dogs turn on us. We had some rahter nice ones too, al full blooded with papers and awards. When I had my own daughter I decided not to have any dogs around her. I gave up a long love of the dog, for my daughter. Even though we never seen on of our dogs turn, I just would not allow the possiblity into the equation where my daughters concerned.

I just can not take that chance. Even to this day, I have not looked into breeding pits. My daughter replaced that part of my life...

I have a chocolate lab. She alternates from being too damn smart for her own good to too damn stupid to live. One minute she'll figure out how to open the door to go outside, next minute she runs full speed, head first into the sliding glass door. She's my baby. My bitch.

Well...Ive made my mind up, Im deffinetly getting a Staffordshire Bull Terrier....

Problem 1 = Solved...
Problem 2= Finding them....

They're pretty cool dogs, but what-ever you do make sure you get a dog thats been bred well, not from some shity breeder, cause then after 3 years the dog will have health problems mgiht be aggresive and attack things, and that can cost you ALOT, and it mgiht even cst your dog its life...

SO i WARN YOU get from a good breeder not some cheepy shit one...

But we dont use him for that..

Yea German Shepards are the police dogs and he trained for fightin but......hes just too cool to fight and we treat him like a king
