This could've been tha Aftermath lineup if Dre wasn't gay
Rakim
Xzhibit Eminem Kanye West (Sent countless number of beat tapes to Dre when he was trying 2 get signed) Eve (was signed to Aftermath first) Tha Last Emperor (used to be signed to him) Devin Tha Dude Mel-Man That would've been tha dopest team of damn near all time |
:cussing: i know. didn't he turn down some Premo beats for Rakims album?
|
This wouldnt of been the dopest team of all time by far.
|
I don't even wanna try and imagine Em or X on one of kanyes beats, doesn't seem right...
|
LOL...... Personaly, i think Def Jux has the illest line up......
|
Roflmao at Eve .. just saw her name up there, this kid really has no clue ..
|
FUCKIN HELL Ian, It was only (practicly) Yestarday u had 5000 posts.....
|
meh...remember Rakim was on Aftermath for about a week...l0l
Aftermath is pretty good...But if you say "Aftermath" to anyone, they automatucally think "Shady Records"... |
Hmm...well you cant have everything in life
id still just settle for the new elvis presley all about the dollar |
Def Jux has the best line up to date......
|
Well Atleast Some1 wise Agrees with me...Thank u MuhThugga
|
They were also rumoured to have had a chance to work with Ice Cube.
So we would've had: Rakim Eminem Xzibit Ice Cube ---- those 4 alone could be a very good label in terms of rapping. If Kanye West & Dre did their beats, we would have a damn near perfect label. But Aftermath is becoming weaker by the day... unless that new guy called "Game" can bring any skills and Eminem realises he needs to release something reminiscent of 1999-2001, Aftermath is going down. |
that would be a weird ass lineup, I can't picture Ice Cube in the mix with anybody there except X.
|
Well whoevers faggoty enuff to make rakim leave his label is................well a faggot! i read in the source he didnt even put
effort into makin Ra's beats or nothin he jus basicly shitted on him how the fuck u gon give Rakim some shitty as beat lol That goes to show u he only cares bout Em cuz he is guaranteed to sell him cds he dont car about makin ill shit....... |
werent they supposedly gettin Mobb Deep n Busta, i dunno just heard a few rumors
|
that nigga B-Rad was ill, they should sign him
|
Quote:
Dre is greedy he wants to make beats for his own artisit,i dont think kanye would get any respect on aftermath....but dre did do a good job on the mary j. blige track(not today). And kanye fits in more at Rocafella, they need beats more than aftermath. |
yea and b-rad was tyte
|
Kanye West Doesn't Match With Aftermath...
Hey Baron...Your Name Is Ian...So Is Mines... |
I heard Dre is really gay
|
Quote:
They Both Got Their Own Labels.... |
Kanye's dope ass beats fit with any team. People seem 2 forget he did that Trina and Luda shit "B All right" wit tha thick ass bassline and shit, then did tha Luda "Stand up" and tha Alicia Keys so he can make beats 4 any artist.
I think Kanye and Dre wouldn't of gotten along cuz Dre likes to steal beats and put his name on em, u ever notice no matter what Dre NEVER gets along with producers? DAZ,Mel-Man,Hitmen, have all been associated with him then left. not to mention that big ass producing team Deathrow had they all said Dre would come in, maybe change tha pictch of tha beat (and that aint shit trust me its probably the least important part of making a beat) then put his name on em. and tha dude "Game" is garbage, as is "Brooklyn" unless she just sings cuz she got a dope ass singing voice but she raps like shit. |
so why didnt dre wana sign X?
|
Quote:
Spelt the same too? Cause i hate how some spell it 'Iain' .. lol |
well if you add on Shady's branch...
Rakim Xzhibit Eminem Kanye West (Sent countless number of beat tapes to Dre when he was trying 2 get signed) Eve (was signed to Aftermath first) Tha Last Emperor (used to be signed to him) Devin Tha Dude Mel-Man Tony Ya Yo Lolyd Banks 50 Cent D12 (including Obie) I don't really think Rahkim is all that...but hell..I am entitled to my opinion. I don't think Eve was a real big loss. Shady is doing Dre's bitch work wit Gorilla Unit and D12... There still the tightest roster in the rap world. |
Quote:
Roflmao at you being all on Dre's dick bad mouthing him when it's a known fact in the industry all Kanye does is add thick baselines over practocally the same monotonous beat everytime .. |
Quote:
Roflmao .. i hope you were jking kid. Def Jux shits on Afetrmath's roster. |
lol..let me rephrase...
they are the dopest mainstream roster... that better? lol |
def jux = nerd rap
nerd rap = wack rakwus = best roster. |
LOL Nerd Rap... All the nerds SWORE to rule something cool one day...That Day Came, And Def Jux are shittin on Comercial ass fuckaz....
*Cleans NHS glasses and inhales his asthma pump* |
can some say whose actually on Def Jux, lol...
and Aftermath/Shady isnt even in the top five for me... |
Quote:
took the words out of my mouth |
ps...iam still wondering....
rakim off aftermath???? WTF??? we cudve had another classic last summer no thanks to...whatever dr. dre was on! |
Cannibal Ox
Aesop Rock Mr.Lif El-P Murs There are more but their the ones i favour... Even Low Life has a better roster than Aftermath....(UK) |
And thats A Fact
|
wouldnt be the dopest team, cause one of the dopest members is going to stick with producing after his next album....
Eminem... Hese about to retire, so the roster dont look to strong anymore. But Rakim stands out... X, is he ever ganna come out with another CD? Kanye, I dont think that would work out even if signed with them. Other people, dont care about. ohh yea, Eve... I dont think she would look right with that crew either... |

You Just Educated Me. . I Didn't Know My Two Favorite Rappers {Kweli and Mos} Were On Rawkus. . And Add Pharohe And Skillz. . That Roster Shit's On Aftermath/Shady. . Thank You C. I Personally Think Mos Def And Talib Kweli Are Two Of The Dopest Rappers To Ever Be In The Game. . And I'm Still Fuckin Waitin For Blackstar's Second LP. . I Want It Done . . I Want It Now. |

1. Rawkus went out of business a long time ago, just read the news on Kweli's site. They didn't have any money. 2. DR.Dre is a perfectionist. Rakim approached Dre and asked him to produce his album, seeing it was his final one, he wanted to go out on top. Buty Dre and Rakim didn't agree on anything really, like most artist complain about working with Dre. But it was Rakim who turned down Premo's beats not Dre, Dre even said he's ok with splitt'n the album down the middle with Premo, but Rakim didn't like any of the beats Premo offered. 3. Eminem produces most, if not all of his record labels music. Dre get's royalties on everything, but he doesn't really produce anything, except 1 or 2 tracks for each. 4. Commercial or 'Underground', aftermath right now is on top, at least as far as $$$$$ goes, but then again, if you make a lot of money in rap, then you automatically become commercial and your no longer underground, well at least according to these netcee retards on here. 5. Everybody know's a good beat when they hear one. Guru didn't like any of the new beats Premo was putt'n out either, and still hasn't released a follow-up album cuz he won't hire another beat maker. So much for Gang-Starr 6. The only reason Ice Cube was signed to Aftermath was for that stupid NWA idea with Snoop, but Dre want's to put out Detox before that. 7. Rawkus records was the best in my opinon, but their done now, so the choices are slim. 8. If you don't know what your talk'n about, don't pretend to. If you don't believe what I've posted, I'd love to supply links if the stories are still online or archived. |
