I'd be more then willing to run one if people would partake in it. I have been saying we need one for a while now. We seem to have an influx of audio battlers these days.

No one ever showed for it. Opey has tried everything, even making the league topical, and you people still no show on a weekly basis.

Demand seems to be here. I'll see if I can't work something out with the Admins.. maybe get Cyph to help run it. It could be dope if people did show.

it's a question of motivation. how do u get people to participate.

i'd be willing to donate a few custom beats here n there as prizes. i'm sure other producers would as well.

maybe also give, dare i say, free posts. since that's what people seem to value round here. why not give away 25 - 50 -100 posts to mc's who show up every week.

neways, just an idea. but i think the topic is worth discussin cus the site could use more audio involvment.

got another idea.....

instead of a weekly audio league make it a monthly crew audio league. each crew wit audio has 3-4 members so puttin together 1 track/month shouldn't be tuff.

U could also combine this wit the MTA league, where one of the beats has to come from it. Therefore if a crew producer makes a wicked beat in the MTA league then the crew will have a better chance in the monthly track league.

U could also combine this with the topical league i suppose, where a textee's provide lyrics for the crew beat. but i know most mc's don't favor ghost writtin.

After 12 months u'd have a tru RB mixtape that could be sold to generate funds for the site. Guarantee of ending up on the credits of the mixtape project would also encourage participation from all levels.

i suggested this in the WEC, suggestion thread, i hope if this kicks off then it wouldnt be as slept on as the suggestions thread!!

But look there is a reason for no shows.... it is opey's fault that people no show.. you know why??? because why would you sign someone up for a league that has fucking 2 posts and has never posted an audio on rb yet....

you gotta filter through.. don tjust accept everybody.. you gotta take time to check each persons soundclick.. and shit like that.. so you say "well i have a life" then dont mod it go take care of your life.. a battle league could work if managed right.....

make one and ill mod it or if not ill at least help out.

we tried it all guys... prizes, mags, topicals, different formats.... weekly, biweekly. the problem is that people are just too lazy to show up on time and drop a verse. we get plenty of sign ups. we get atleast 5-10 new heads every week, but no one drops a verse.

And Tell Bruk That Whoever No Shows Will Be Banned...That'll Show 'Em...

yea the idea's been tried an' FAILED miserably... like 6 times i might add... people are notorious no-show'rs here... specially audio, 'cause we could give a fuck about the internet...
