Both of these cats are badass. I just saw Sole when he came with Sage Francis, he puts on a pretty good show. Murs is awesome, check out Felt, it is him and Slug. He also does a song with Humpty on The Beginning Of The End, it's Risky Business. Check out the Def Jux website for some audio & video. Anticon's website has some music from Sole, and other artists too.

Sole's amazing. Not the usual conventional type of flow. He hardly ever uses easy "apparent" rhyming words, I guess that could turn some people off from his style, but he makes everything flow and you don't even notice it. (When I said "easy "apparent" rhyming" words", what I was talking about is he doesn't end every bar with a "rhyming" word. Well...he doesn't even have "bars" really. It's like a paragraph almost.) I suppose the best classification of his style would be “abstract”, considering that’s how they classify everything. :rolleyes:

I’m personally not to into Murs. I don’t know why, just not feeling him really. Me, being a Christina Ricci groupie and Slug is always an artist to make my Top 10 list, so I obviously thought “Felt: A Tribute To Christina Ricci” was a gift from god, but I just didn’t feel Murs to much (no pun intended). He picked it up more towards the end of it though. Just doesn’t have the “heart” / “soul” passion (again, no pun intended, lol).

Murs has been out since like 1993, and is pretty damn popular. I'm surprised that none of you people have heard of him. Go to www.sandboxautomatic.com and buy his albums. Or search for his albums on www.hiphopinfinity.com and just stream a few tracks. He is a dope artist as well, and just has that feel good music.

If either one comes around your way on tour.....go to their show. Two of the best live performers you can see.
